I don't think I'm going to have time to write an anniversary story. I have my hopes set for two Christmas tales before/during the contest, and then while not part of a contest, I want to finish a New Years story I started so I can submit it at the beginning of January. (And don't forget, Valentine's will be right around the corner!)

Well, I really, really wanted a Halloween/Anniversary costume party but never got it. Of course, when it comes to Halloween tales, the costume party thing is done a lot.

Interestingly, most of the contest stories avoided the costume party theme and went straight to the heart of horror. Much like some marriages.
