The one piece of makeup I can't live without is

lip gloss (I think chap stick makes my lips feel icky.... ) but I'm a gloss fan

Some sort of lipstick, lip-gloss, chapstick...something! I can not tolerate dry lips!

mascara, my eyelashes are blonde.

I've read, and it makes perfect sense, that a blonde shouldn't leave the house without mascara, and a brunette without lipstick.

Mind you, I don't hesitate to leave the house without either at times, however, I think the advice is pretty good as a general rule.

Myst, I can't live without lip balm. I've been addicted forever. If I am without, it will be one of the first things I stop to pick up.

My current favorite is here. (Damn, I just noticed that their minimum order for free shipping just went up to $45 from $25.)

I was just looking at Burt Bee's product list. They have lemongrass insect lotion. So, Ruby, analyze me: (oh, guru that you are on looking delectable)

Very dark brown hair, very fair skin with yellow undertones, and hazel/green eyes.

Myst, I would love to do your makeup. Namely, because you have the exact same coloring as I do, so it would be easy.

You must go to your nearest M.A.C. counter and try on the lipstick Carnal. One of the benefits of being a woman is that the perfect lipstick shade can make our month. This one did for me.

After years of wearing minimal to almost no makeup, I've recently gotten back into it in a big way.

One of the newer things I've done that I've felt has made a big difference in the way my face looks is to tweeze my brows a lot more aggressively than I once did.

I too, have hazel eyes. I was told to use eye shadows in shades of purple to bring out the green. Opposites on the color spectrum, as you know. However, I like how I look better in shades of olive and brown, lined with black.

Oh, here's something new I love. I always used to use a pencil to line my eyes. What's infinitely better is to line your eyes in eye shadow. I got a brush specifically for this from M.A.C. The pluses are that the shadow stays put - doesn't run, and you can use any color you want.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

It is a toss-up between mascara (blonde lashes) and lipstick...but have been having problems lately with allergic reactions to it. Even Almay! So have been goin' without it. But need lipstick for kissable lips :p

absolutely flavored lip balm :)

can't live without it... addicted, but who cares? :p

I can't live without any of my make-up but if I had to choose just one I would say eye liner

Two things

Mascara..... and the face lotion by Clinque..(i love their products)

Why hasn't anyone mentioned bright blue eye shadow? I know I'd never dream of walking out the diir without mine.

Myst  nice to see that av back.

I can live with out make-up. All I need is moisturizer. Oil of Olay complete - I live by it.

Well that's just a given...

Lipbalm. I don’t usually use anything else unless it’s a really special occasion (or... Halloween).

Eyebrow pencil - accents the eyes, opens up my whole face.

Gotta' have it!

Benefit's Reel me Rhonda lipstick, its perfect.

Inexpensive substitutes...

Revlon's Color Stay Lipshine in Eclipse for that wet look

or

Black Opal's Ebony wine.

Can't live without either.

I can't believe no one else has said eyeliner. That is my necessity, followed by eye borw pencil, mine are so fair that it looks almost like I don't have any.

I normally avoid make-up, since the job says I have to wear it! But Origins Transforming Lip Gloss is really neat, as is their Fringe Benefits mascara. (It really helps to be good friends with a store manager. . . it becomes affordable!)

I'm good babycakes :D

My list:

1. chapstick/ lip balm/ nude lipstick.. anything that moisturizes my lips.

2. face moisturizer, right now it's Nivea SHEER

3. dark brown, lengthening, mascara

don't wear much else unless i'm going out for the night or something.
