The song of the birds singing outside of the window stirred him rousing him from his deep slumber. He felt the sun on his head warm rays of light trying to entice him to get up and get moving and grumbled as he buried his head deeper into his pillow. He reached out one tan muscular arm poking out of the cream-colored duvet as his large hand began to slap the nightstand right next to the bed and searched for his phone.

Gradually the young man began to realize something was very wrong. The sheets which had felt luxurious in his sleep now felt wrong and foreign to his naked body. There were to clean and crisp to be his and the pillow case itself had a strong smell of bleach. The bed itself was wrong too, much to firm for his liking and distinctly NOT his bed.

The awareness that he was… not in his room caused the man’s tan shoulders to tighten up. He moved slowly, cautiously blinking away the lingering sleep from his stone-gray eyes as he pushed the blanket off of himself and took stock of the room around him. He sat on the bed his naked feet touching the faded red carpet. The room was small and simple a window behind the nightstand and a generic looking lamp, the rooms itself was white and a few pictures were put up of random flowers to give the room slightly more personality. There was a bathroom off to the side and a regular flat screen TV affixed above a beat up wooden dresser.

The young man felt a burst of relief go through his body as he realized what kind of room he was in.

“Only in a hotel room” He murmured raking his hand through his long black hair and using the leather thong on his arm to tie it into a small pony tail.

“Thank god”

He rose out of the bed the blanket falling down and revealing his naked body to the cool hotel room air. He was tall and muscular the body of someone who spent their day working and moving versus sitting in an office. There was a dangerous edge to him from his large muscular forearms to the tattoo’s that adorned his body. Tribal lettering ran down his arms and shoulder blades curling up to his shoulders were they finally stopped. Faded burn marks adorned his back and the curve of his hips. He rose and his ass flexed in response tightening up as he padded over to the window and curiously peeked outside.

“Well at least I’m still in Reno” Dominic murmured his eyes sweeping over the city.
He could see the infamous strip dead center to his window so close he could practically reach out and grab it. The hotel he was in was just outside of the area the sign promoting that it boasted “reasonable prices” and “within walking distance to all Vegas had to offer”.

“What did I get myself into this time” Dominic thought pressing his tan forehead against the cool glass and closing his eyes. He pushed through the drunken haze and fog of the hangover instead focusing on his memories of last night.
He and his friends got off work and went to celebrate… something he couldn’t quite remember. They went to one of the more popular clubs, one of the ones that sat just outside of the main strip. A friend of a friend knew a guy and so they were ushered in past the long line of hopefuls trying to get in. From there the night became a haze, a haze filled with drinks and dancing. A night filled with the memory and scent of some girl….

Some Girl

Dominic stiffened understanding dawning on his face as he realized he hadn’t come here alone. As if on que he heard the whisp of a bed sheet moving and turned. His eyes wide and nervous swept over the bed before landing on the rumpled bedsheets that hid his sleeping partner from view. He froze like a deer in the headlights his mind furiously kicking into overdrive as he tried to figure out the mystery girl who he spent the night with. The urge to turn tail and run was there but he didn’t for a second contemplate it. It wasn’t his style to cut and run like that.

“Uh hey” He finally said clearing his throat and stepping forward “I’m not sure we exchanged names but uh I’m Dominic”

“That was some crazy night huh?” He said nervously rambling as he waited for the figure to speak “I mean at least from what I can remember of it”
He winced realizing how wrong that sounded.

“Not that its forgettable its just… Christ this isn’t going so well” He said chuckling and rubbing the back of his neck “Maybe I should go try and get that coffee I see on the counter working huh?”

Maya was in a fog and she heard a voice coming deep within that fog. She tried to open her eyes, but they were like dead weights. She knew where her legs and arms should be, but she didn't feel them.

The voice sounded again ... 'I'm Dominic.” The slim part of Maya's brain that was working tossed the name 'Dominic' around and around and concluded that she never knew anybody with that name.

'That was some crazy night, huh?'

The night...Maya saw flashes of the night, but the last clear image was choosing a black dress, meeting her girlfriend in the lobby of her hotel, arriving at one of the top clubs and being ushered in and then sipping a Fizz Fraise.

Maya's nose was working well and the smell of bleach made her nose twitch. The sheets felt like a man's starched shirt and the sheets she felt the night before were 100% Egyptian Cotton.

She was finally able to blink her eyes and the white walls changed from a blur to as crisp as the sheets. Her hotel room was not white and her room had real flowers, not gaudy paintings of potted plants.

'Christ, this isn't going so well.' ... Maya wondered if she were dead and one of the angels wasn't sure if she was in the right place. She thought she had led a good life ... what exactly isn't going well?

The voice became deeper and less angelic ... 'get that coffee.'

'Oh crap,' she thought. 'I'm not in heaven, I'm not in my hotel room and Jen's voice is deep, but not that deep and she knows I hate coffee.'

'I'm dreaming,' she thought. 'If I keep my eyes closed I will wake up, alone, in my hotel bed.'

There was the sound of water, a package being opened and a pot being placed in a machine.

“I'm not alone, am I?” she asked.

She opened her eyes a bit more and saw her dress in the corner and her bra and panties nearby.

Maya sat up in the bed, clutching the sheet up to her neck. Her long blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders and by the length of her arms, Dominic could determine she was tall and slender.

Her eyes were a rich, sparkling brown with flecks of gold and she turned her head towards the voice.

Maya saw a side view of a tall, tanned, muscular man. There were tattoos on his arm, his butt was nicely curved and his thick, flaccid penis was pointing down.

“Oh my God,” she yelped. “Get some clothes on!”

She drew up her knees, closed her eyes and lowered her head to them.

'Maya, Maya, Maya,' she thought. 'What did you do?'

“Shit” Came his reply

He hadn’t really paid much attention to his state of undress. He quickly scanned the room his eyes trying to find his jeans or boxers to slide them on. When he did finally find them he dived down scooping up the black tight briefs and pulling them over his muscular legs.

“Sorry” He called out having fallen behind the foot of the bed. He reappeared moments later his cock at least covered if not making a sizable bulge in the simple blue briefs.

“Not the best way to wake up is it” He said rubbing the back of his neck and blushing “I don’t know if you heard but I’m uh Dominic”

“Do you want some coffee?” He asked pointing at the simple if a little beat up coffee pot “I can make us a fresh pot or we can get out of here I know a good breakfast place that’s great to get rid of a hangover….”

He watched her his eyes sweeping up and down in pleasure. The sheets were hiding much of her body…. But she had a beautiful honest looking face. Her long blond curls drew him in as well and his nostrils flared as he tried to scent her and see what her hair smelled like.

“That is if you want” He said realizing he was being forward “I mean I don’t know about you but from what I can remember last night was incredible….”

Maya kept her eyes closed and her head pressed to her knees.

“I did hear,” she said softly. “It would be a lot better if you were Dominica and not Dominic. Did you ... I mean, did we ... you know??”

You didn't respond and then asked about coffee or breakfast.

“I can't get out of this room quick enough and I need some answers from you.” The tone of her voice indicated she was not too pleased.

“I hope it was incredible for you at the club and dull and boring once we got here.”

She looked up and saw you wearing your briefs, the tightness of them showing what was inside. “Is that what you call getting dressed,” she said with a hint of sarcasm.

“I need to take a few minutes to gather my thoughts. Can you please get ALL your clothes on and step out. I will get dressed and meet you in the hall.” She sighed

“I had a black purse, do you see it anywhere?”

“Uhhhh okay?”

Dominic frowned collecting his stuff and moving towards the bathroom. He spotted her black purse nestled on its side right in between the coffee table and the wall.

“Here” He said reaching out with his free hand and scooping the bag up. He padded over placing it directly in front of her before clearing his throat.

“I guess I will uh go change”

He walked into the bathroom closing the door firmly behind him. Once he was in he got dressed his mind tossing and turning the frankly disconcerting conversation, he had just been a part of.
What was with her? And her comment about his name? Was she perhaps gay? Someone who thought they were strictly into women?

Not that he was judging, you met all kinds of people in vegas and as someone who part of both worlds Dominic had never been one to be judge someone. Yet if she was…… well that then how did they end up in bed together?

He dressed quickly mindful of the fact she wanted him outside. Once he was sure he was dressed and presentable he stepped out of the bathroom quickly making his way and giving her the respect of not looking directly at her. Once he was outside he shut the door leaning against the wall across from it and waiting.

Maya peeked as Dominic exited the bathroom and shut the room door behind him. He moved gracefully and had a butt that could only be described as ... sexy. OK, hot would fit as well.

She slipped out of bed, wrapped the sheet around her, padded to the door, turned the lock and attached the chain. A tall slender mirror was attached to a wall and she let the sheet drop, inspected herself for bruises and heaven forbid, bite marks.

Maya remembered him kissing her, but nothing else. Maybe either he or herself had passed out and nothing happened. She didn't feel any tenderness down there and there was no apparent bruising. She breathed in deeply and couldn't smell a hint of sex, but that was far from conclusive.

She sat on the toilet and went pee, wracking her brain for memories of the night, but no more came. She splashed water on her face and dried off with a towel that was surprisingly soft and clean.

Her heels were nowhere to be found and she went on all fours and looked under the bed. How they got to the middle of the bed will certainly be an unanswered question.

She got the towel, laid it on the floor and then herself on the towel. This day was not starting out well.

Maya slipped on her clothes and brushed her hair in the bathroom mirror. She couldn't delay any longer and with a deep breath she headed to the door.

He was leaning against the far wall and had a look of concern, but that didn't ease her nervousness.

"My name is Maya and I'm sorry for being abrupt with you. I don't know if a drink was tampered with or if the alcohol hit me in some weird way."

She felt a coldness rush through her and with each blink of her eyes, the wetter they became. Maya hadn't had one in over six months and she was struggling not to have another. The chill wasn't going away, her heart began to race and wiggling her fingers didn't stop the tingling and numbness.

"I've never gone to bed with a man that I didn't know."

A sense of doom swirled in her tummy, her knees bent, her legs gave way, her eyes rolled up and she began to fall towards you.

He almost didn’t catch her.

Her sudden pitch forward caught him entirely by surprise. He reached his hand out his mouth opened in shock as she landed against his chest. His hands wrapped around her catching her and holding him against her chest as her body went limp.

“Are you okay?” He asked her peering down to get a good look at her face. His heart clenched in his chest noticing her eyes were closed. He gently shook her trying in vain to stir her as his eyes looked around the hall. He felt for a pulse dread filling the pit of his stomach.

“Thank god” He said sighing in relief as he felt her pulse against his fingers. He gently picked her up carrying her bridal style as if she was nothing and reopening the hotel door. He brought her inside and closed the door laying her down and making sure she was comfortable before sitting down on the edge of the bed.

He decided to give her thirty minutes before calling for nine one one. He continued to check her pulse as he waited trying several times to rouse her. When he wasn’t working on her he paced the room going over the events of the night before and trying to remember any details that would let him know what was happening to her. The whole situation was… strange to say the least, stranger than what he was used to. He felt responsible for her and didn’t want anything to happen to her.

Maya's eyes began to flutter and the first thing that came into focus was the ceiling.

'This can't be happening,' she thought. This is like the movie Groundhog Day. Everyday the hero woke up, the same day was repeating itself.

She remembered getting dressed and then ... oh...the panic attack. It had been ages since her last one and it was caused by extreme stress. Waking up in bed with a strange man was classified as extreme stress.

She tilted her head, seeing Dominic again.

"You seem to be in the habit of putting me to bed," she said.

Dominic couldn’t help but laugh at her words.

“It seems so” He remarked chuckling and helping her up and into a sitting position.

“Are you okay?” He asked her his eyes lit up with concern “Besides the passing out you seemed fine but if you need me to take you to a doctor or anything I can”

"Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine now."

She tried to stand and was a touch wobbly, but after a moment recovered and went to the sink and splashed some water on her face.

"Let's try again," she said to you and walked to the door.

"Are you coming ... we can get a coffee or tea and something to eat."
