The Official Lit Women's Meet-up Thread

I'm posting this for any discussion of the proposed Women's Meet-up! Please don't post here if you're not looking for an IRL encounter...there's already a thread for that.

Okay, what we need to decide first is: Is there enough interest to make this happen? If so, When? Where?

Basic guidelines I'd like to suggest:

18 and older, only (duh)

NO MEN! That means no boyfriends or husbands tagging along....this is strictly a women only event!

Individual choice and boundaries need to be respected.....no one has to do anything (or anybody) they aren't comfortable with.

No pics taken of anybody without their permission!
Alrighty then, let's see if this bird will fly!

Thanks for getting the ball rolling Slippery Witch.

I would be up for a meeting before May, but not the last week of March. Anything between May and October is right out for me.

For what my opinion is worth, it would be great to meet in a place with some skiing, hiking, or paddling opportunities.

Unfortunately I am on the lower end of the budget, so a 5 star place would likely be out of my range.

I look forward to reading more.

Altitude Week

I had the name wrong, it's Altitude Week not Attitude, although either fits I suppose!

The website is whistlerblackcomb.com, then look under Events then February.

The link to Altitude week is not active at this time so I wrote them and asked for clarification as I know I read about it on their website earlier this year.

When I hear back I can let you know or feel free to check it out yourself-worth the trip no matter when you go as it is absolutely some of the best skiing in the most magnificent scenery you can imagine.
