I've never seen the show (sorry, the previews looked dumb) but isn't the main girl still an underaged teen? (I know most TV "teens" are in their 20s...think 90210 or Sabrina the Teenaged Witch...but I thought People magazine said the main girl in The OC was still underaged.)

Technicality

I asked if the actress who played the main girl on the show was under 18 since I thought I read that she was. How is that a "technicality" if she is under the legal age?

Mischa Barton's allegedly offical website gives her birthdate as Jan 24, 1986...which means she's legal in 12 days.

Like I said in my first post, I have never watched the show so I have no idea which actress is which character.

I also mentioned that I know "most" TV teen actors are not teens.
