Just a thought, is this thread more abstractg than letting on? because I would like to bring in the character Chrono, as having noticed that time is being affected on another dimention and is going to investigate.

IC: Rick walked down the road, talking on the phone to his girlfriend, Melissa.
"No, I am not going to miss it. I will be there, this time I will- No, I told you what happened."
He then listened to her and tried to explain what happened the last time and only time he had stood her up, a smile coming to his face. She could argue with him but he still loved her, he actually loved her more now than when they had first met.
"I will be there at eleven dear and I will sweep you off your feet."
"I will hold you to that," came the reply from Melissa.

Jillian smiled over at Dave and gave him a wink. Her golden brown hair was piled on top of her head, leaving just a few strands to caress her neck. Her sweater top hugged her firm breasts and came just above her navel. Her jeans hugged her hips and legs, showing them off in just the right way. The blue earrings and teardrop necklace matched the color of Dave's eyes. She had wanted to look extra special tonight.

They were meeting Rick and his girl Melissa and going to watch the fireworks for New Years Eve. Rick, Dave and Jill had been friends for what seemed like forever and then, in High School, Rick had found Melissa and Dave and her had linked together. The rest was history.

Leaning over and brushing her lips over Dave's cheek, she asked,"So, when is Rick and Melissa getting here? Its going to be time to celebrate soon.

"I dont know," i answered her question." very soon I hope,I will call him," i said.I took out my cell and punched in his number."Hello," he said. " when are you guys getting here," i asked....

"Give me a chance will ya," Rick said. "I have to pick up Melissa yet and she is going to want to be alone with me. She said that she has something to tell me."

Rick pushed the accelerator pedal down further, heading towards Melissa's home, wondering what she had to tell him.

I turned to Jillian.I gave a quick peck on the lips and said " He has'nt even picked up melissa yet," i frowned.
"He was always a slow poke," i said. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close.God how I loved her....

Jillian laughed and shrugged as Dave's strong arms came about her.
"So, just more time for us," She said as she lifted her face to kiss him deeply.

"I would hate to think I got all dressed up like this for nothing."

"I hope its not to babysit your bratty little brother whil you and Rick have another "boys night out". He exahusted both Melissa and I the last time."

"You know I love you more than my own life," I said.I reached into my pocket for the suprise I have been saving up for."Remember I said I was saving up for something special," I said I got on one knee with a big snile on my face....

Jill looked down at Dave and a shocked look came over her face. She could hardly belive what was happening and felt like she was in a daze.

She looked down at him, staring into his blue eyes and breathed,"Dave, what are you doing?"

"Just hear me out," i said. "Ive loved you since the day we met," I said, hesitating ,"Jillian Kingsford,love of my life,Will you be my bride?," I gave her the ring and waited for her response..

Jillian was stunned and couldnt speak. Suddenly she leaned over and gave Dave a long passionate kiss.

When she lifted her head, she said,"Oh, Dave, you know I will. It's about time you asked."

Smiling, she held her hand out for him to place the ring on her finger.
