Counting threads?

Hmmmm... When I look at the "About" page for A Day At The Stone Wall Mall, I see:

Deepest Thread: 13
Total Pages: 83

I wonder how those numbers are counted, since they appear to differ from the numbers on your "My Stories" page.

One of my own stories, for example:

About In From The Snow gives

Deepest Thread: 4
Total Pages: 5

I know these numbers are correct from a recent count.

But "My Stories" says: Threads 11, Pages 4.

Where do you suppose the difference comes from? I can't figure out how they got 'Threads 11' for my story on my My Stories page. Pressing "Add New Thread" but never submitting the thread?

Virgin's first time

Today is my first visit to this forum and I really appreciate the compliments and feedback in the previous posts. I would like to have lengthier threads, but am a little gunshy. Whenever I've posted a couple screenfuls, I lose my login and my work! Aaargh! Any advice on this matter would be appreciated. And I wouldn't complain about one of your dirty lil emails.
