Lina stared at herself in the full-length mirror that hung on the door of her bedroom. "Another day, another school."

She is eighteen and extremely beautiful with long, auburn hair that falls into ringlets about mid-back. She has piercing blue eyes that are a perfect contrast for her fair skin and auburn hair. She has a great body with curves in all the right places.

She straightened her baby blue halter top and blue jean skirt. She shook her head and was suddenly startled by her mother walking into the room. Her mother smiled and said, "You look nice today. Lina, do try to make friends this year?"

Lina rolled her eyes and said, "Why, mom? We'll probably just move again next year."

Her mother patted her daughter softly on the back and said, "You know with your father's line of work, things happen and we have to move."

"Fine, Mom. I have to go." She kissed her mom on the cheek and grabbed her backpack.

She climbed into her new Mustang and drove to her new school. She pulled into her assigned parking spot and got out of the car. She took a look at her new school. The parking lot was full of nice cars and even a few limos dropping off kids at the front of the school. "Pacific Coast High. Only the best for daddy's little girl. Just like every other school I've been to." She grabbed her bag and made her way into the school.

Immediately every one began to stare as she walked down the hall. She was used to it. Not because she thought she was beautiful, but because she was used to being the new girls.

She was getting evil looks from the girls, but the boys were practically drooling. She had had relationships before, but nothing serious because she was always moving. None of her boyfriends had even met her family and she had never done more than kiss a boy. She wanted someone special, but no one would ever understand the family business.

She walked over to her locker and unlocked it. She put some notebooks in and she noticed that a group of what seemed to be the popular crowd were watching her. The girls were whispering to each other and the guys were hormonally nudging each other, but one guy just seemed to watch her very carefully. He was wearing a letterman's jacket like the other guys, but he seemed a little different. Lina shook her head, closed her locker, and set off to find her first class.

((Alrighty.... I need my male character and some other people too. PM me with your character descriptions. ))

Tom

OOC
Name: Tom Cox
Age: 18
Height: 6'0
Weight: 255 lbs.
Build: Muscular
Hair: Dark Brown with Light Brown Highlights
Eyes: Dark Brown with Green Rim

Personality: Tom is a jock, but really doesn't hang out with the jocks all too much. He keeps to himself, only talking extensively with his close friends. He's only had a couple of relationships, none leading to anything more than a kiss. He wants so much more, though, and is willing to do pretty much anything to get it.

IC
Tom was getting ready for another boring useless year of school. Luckily, it was his last. He was a senior, star defensive lineman on the school's football team. But that couldn't hide the fact that he hadn't had a stable relationship in almost a year. Chelsea had broken up with him because she was saving herself for marraige, a likely excuse for any girl. Tom wanted, no, needed more than just pecks on the lips everyonce in a while. He threw on a black shirt, tight blue jeans and his letterman jacket which he earned last year for the varsity team winning the State Championship. With that, he headed off for school. Not many people owned a Mustang, and he was the only one with a bright yellow.

When Tom pulled up to the school, he noticed an empty parking spot next to a brand new Mustang. Hmm, he thought, must be a new student. He parked next to it, and immidiately grabbed his bag and registration papers. He checked out where his locker was. 200 Wing, number 242. He navigated the hallways to the 200 wing. Luckily, most of his classes were down here. He got to his locker and looked around to see who was around him. He noticed most of the team, judged by the letterman jackets, all pretty much brand new from last year.

Tom looked the other direction and immidiately noticed a blue jean skirt and a baby blue halter top, with the head in the locker so that he couldn't see it. Just like she knew he was there, she brought her head out and looked his direction. He immidiately looked back to his locker in embarassment. He could see that she smiled his direction and turned to walk away. He nearly followed her, but then thought, I have an entire school year to make friends. I need to get to class.

He looked at his schedule. World History, wonderful, Tom thought in his normally sarchastic tone. He took off towards the classroom. As he entered, he looked for a seat. That's when he noticed...her. The same girl that, just moments ago, was going through her locker and glancing his direction. She wasn't sitting near anyone, there were empty seats all around her. He smiled at her and moved to sit in the seat beside her. He looked at her and smiled.

"Hi. Tom Cox, and you are?"

Lina finally found her first class which was World History. She entered the classroom which was practically empty except for a few people. She figured people at this school didn't show up until the last minute. She chose a seat towards the back away from the few people that were there.

She took out her day planner and wrote down for this afternoon, Meet Uncle Giorgio at the gun shop. She glanced up for moment and spotted the guy from the hallway. He had obviously spotted her also and was making his way over to the desk next to her. She quickly closed her planner and stuck it in her bag.

He slid into the seat beside her and said, Hi. Tom Cox, and you are?

She flashed him a smile and replied, "Nice to meet you, Tom Cox. Melina DeAngelo. Call me Lina."

"Nice to meet you, Tom Cox. Melina DeAngelo. Call me Lina."

Tom took a minute to examine the very exotic name in his head. It was one he hadn't heard before.

"Lina DeAngelo. You have to be new here. Are you a senior?"

"Lina DeAngelo. You have to be new here. Are you a senior?"

Lina smiled and said, "Yea, I'm a senior. My dad...uh....just got transferred here."

The bell had just rang and the people flooded into the classroom. Lina sighed. Saved by the bell. She was relieved not to have to get to deep into introductions.

She spoke too soon. The teacher calmed the class and announced, "We have a new student to our school this year. Melina De...ang..rilo. Please stand up and tell us about yourself."

Lina shook her head and stood, "DeAngelo. Please call me Lina. Umm... my family got transferred here from Florida...umm..." Most people stared at her while others whispered.

The teacher asked curiously, "And what does your family do, Lina?"

Lina laughed nervously and said, "We run a family business." With that said, she sat down quickly. The teacher soon turned to another topic and Lina breathed a sigh of relief.

She ran her hand through her hair and turned back to Tom, "So what do you guys do around here for fun?"

Black Hair, Brown Eyes.

I am the varsity defensive tackle and like Tom, pretty good at what he does on the field. Neither of us, however, like the jock scene very much, so we tend to hang out together. I grab a seat next to him in class.

IC:

"So what do you guys do around here for fun?"

Depends on what everyone in the group is willing to do, isn't that right, Tom?

"Yea, I'm a senior. My dad...uh....just got transferred here."

Just then, the teacher announced Lina to the class, Lina gave her speil about herself, and then sat back down in her seat. Obviously put out by her now famous status of being a new student, she raked her hair back and turned back to Tom.

"So what do you guys do around here for fun?"

Tom smiled and laughed under his breath before thinking of something to lighten the moment.

"Well, there's a session of serious jocks crushing beer cans on their foreheads...OR (waiting a moment for her to laugh)...there's always calming down on the couch at home watching a movie."

"Well, there's a session of serious jocks crushing beer cans on their foreheads...OR...there's always calming down on the couch at home watching a movie."

Lina laughed at the thought of all the jocks boozing up and doing their jock rituals. It was like a show on the Discovery Channel.

Tom's friend, Doug, had sat down beside Tom and Lina smiled in acknowledgement.

"Beer cans are nice, but I prefer the movie on the couch." She giggled a little and thought to herself, So they're not all mindless idiots. That's refreshing. She smiled at Tom and said, "So jocks have sensitive sides, huh? That's nice to know." She winked at him.

(OOC: Sorry, Doug, I was posting when you were.)

(IC:)

Tom smiled as Lina laughed at his comment. Tom's friend Doug came in and sat in front of him as Lina continued.

"So jocks have sensitive sides, huh? That's nice to know."

Lina winked at him and he smiled at himself for getting through this far without fail.

Class ended, and Lina, Dave and Tom were the last ones out of the room. Tom was the first one to speak up.

"Hey Lina, you know, I don't have anyone to share that movie with tonight. Would you like to share it with me?"

Tom waited on baited breath for her answer.

Class was finally over and Lina gathered her things. Atleast she had made some friends so far.

"Hey Lina, you know, I don't have anyone to share that movie with tonight. Would you like to share it with me?" Lina smiled at Tom and thought for a moment.

She laughed when she noticed a little nervousness in his face. She playfully squeezed his arm which was firm to the touch. She smiled and said, "Sure, what time did you have in mind?"

Tom smiled when Lina squeezed his arm, and something else was starting to show its happiness as well.

"Sure, what time did you have in mind?"

Tom thought for a minute. A smile came across his face as he remembered something.

"My parents have a flight out for Phoenix tonight and they're leaving the house around 6. How about 7?"

Tom grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from the small pocket in his bag and wrote down his address, 114 Westinghouse Road. He also drew a little winking smiley at the bottom and handed it to her with a smile, looking into her mesmerizing blue eyes.

"My parents have a flight out for Phoenix tonight and they're leaving the house around 6. How about 7?"

She smiled a little as he wrote down his address. She read the piece of paper before slipping it into her purse.

"If I don't see you before then, I'll see you at 7." She smiled and kissed him on the cheek before walking out of the classroom.

She went to her locker and put her new World History textbook in it. She saw Tom exit the classroom and was soon bombarded by his fellow jocks.

One jock said to Tom, "So we overheard you have a date with the new girl. She's hot. Are gonna get some of that? I wouldn't mind some."

Unbeknownst to them, Lina could hear them. She pretended to be interested in something in her locker.

Tom smiled as she planted one on his cheek. She walked away, and as Tom turned around, some of who Tom called the "serious jocks" came over to him.

"So we overheard you have a date with the new girl. She's hot. Are gonna get some of that? I wouldn't mind some."

Tom smiled uneasily as he glared through his contacts at the star running back for the team. He cringed as he could already smell the Budweiser on his breath.

"Already building up the can collection for this afternoon, eh Brad? You better be glad Coach Graham doesn't catch you guys with that stuff. Anyway, I'll agree with you on one thing. She is hot. But you know better than anyone that I'm not going to attempt to pressure her into something she doesn't want to do. Not this early."

Brad glared at him.

"Yeah, I would know better than anyone. Especially since I'm an item with Chelsea now."

Tom smiled at him sarchastically.

"Well, well, well. You can have her my friend. See you at practice."

Tom bumped him in the shoulder as he wormed his way through the line of jocks and to his next class.

"Good answer.", she whispered into her locker. She smiled and headed off to her next class.

The day went by pretty fast and before she knew it, she was heading out to her car. She had seen Tom a couple times during the day, but didn't get a chance to talk to him again.

She had had an encounter with a girl named Chelsea who seemed a little too eager to know about her relationship with Tom on her way to the parking lot. She assumed it was an ex- girlfriend and said with a sarcastic grin, "I didn't know there was a relationship with Tom to talk about.... yet. Don't worry, you'll be the first one to find out. I'm sure."

She had walked away. First day and everyone knew who she was. She put her bag in her car and was about to get in her car when she noticed Tom walking over to the yellow mustang beside her red one.

She rolled down her window and said with a smile, "Nice car. I guess we have more in common than I thought."

Orion walked out to his brand new Infiniti G35, it was a gift from his parents after winning the state championship last season. This season didn't look to be any different. With 12 returning starters between Offense and Defense. The PCH Cougars looked to be in damn good shape.

Once to his car he saw Tom talking to the new girl, Lina, he thought her name was. "Hey Tom... don't forget practice today. Don't worry we'll be done in time for your movie." He winked at him and waved, as he got in his car, System of a Down blaring from the speaker system.

It was finally after school. Tom was exhausted. Luckily, Coach Graham had given Defense off for today, as he had just found out. He walked out to his car and noticed Lina in the red Mustang he parked beside this morning. She rolled down her window.

"Nice car. I guess we have more in common than I thought."

He only smiled and offered her a,

"See you tonight."

Then she pulled away. Orion James, star quarterback for PCH, walked over to his Infiniti G35, most likely a present from mommy and daddy, Tom thought. Orion noticed Tom and smirked at him.

"Hey Tom... don't forget practice today. Don't worry we'll be done in time for your movie."

Tom thought, this can't be right. Was Orion trying to be friends, or was that his sarchastic nature. It wasn't that Tom didn't like Orion, it's just that Orion hung out with the people he hated, and therefore, he didn't trust Orion.

"Umm...Graham gave the Defense off today. He wanted to be sure you and the OL would be ready for next week."

With that, James sped away in his Infiniti. Tom hopped over the chassi and into his Mustang, donned the shades and fired it up. He needed to head home to get ready.

Later on, Tom saw his parents out the door to the airport. His mother had given him the usual spiel about no parties in the house. Tom had already told them that Lina was coming over. At first, Tom's mother was against it, but his father changed her mind quickly and gave Tom a wink. With that, they left. Tom had only an hour to wait for the doorbell to ring.

Lina had headed over to the gun shop to meet her uncle like she had planned. She was in a really good mood and her uncle could tell.

Uncle Giorgio greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and asked, "You look cheerful, Jellybean. Did you have a good day?"

He was her favorite uncle and they were really close. She smiled and said, "A great day. I have a date tonight with a guy I met. Don't worry, Uncle G. I know the drill."

She and her uncle walked over to a back door that led to the stroage room. They walked in and we greeted by about 15 men. She smiled and asked aloud, "So who is the hit tonight, boys?" She knew she wasn't allowed to know, but it was always fun to see their faces.

She was called over to the table wheer her father sat and she kissed him on the cheek. He handed her a big envelope and said, "You know the drill." She nodded and left.

She jumped into her car and drove off. She always had to make deliveries for the business. She pulled up to this old brick waehouse and looked around to make sure the coast was clear. She pulled out a loose brick in the warehouse wall and stuck the envelope inside. She looked at her watch. It was 6 o'clock already and she needed to hurry and get home.

She finally made it home in time to get a lecture from her mom about not letting guys take advantage of her. Lina smiled and said, "I'm a DeAngelo. I'm sure I can take care of myself." It was about 6:45 when the lecture ended so she grabbed her purse and left.

She arrived at Tom's house at about 7:05 because she took a wrong turn. She walked up to the door and rang the doorbell.

Hearing the sound of that Mustang pulling up into the driveway was music to Tom's ears. He smiled, knowing that his date for the evening was here. His smile got wider when he heard her feet moving up the porch steps and her finger ringing the doorbell. Tom got up, the movie wasn't starting for another ten minutes, and he was finishing up the movie before the one they were to watch. He opened up the door, smiled again and spoke.

"Hey Lina. Come on in."

He motioned to the living room couch and started heading for the kitchen.

"You want anything to drink, and when I say anything, I mean anything. We pretty much have it all in this house."

He waited at the door to the kitchen for her drink request.

Lina smiled when Tom greeted her at the door and then led her to the livingroom. He then asked her wanted something to drink. Anything to drink.

She had always been a classy drinker and her parents had always allowed her to drink wine. She sat down on the couch and said, "White wine, if you've got it."

She glanced around the house and said, "Great house." She picked up a framed picture beside the couch and said, "This must be your family. They look nice."

She was a little nervous because she hadn't been over to a guy's house in a while. She hadn't really been on a date in a while either. She quietly watched the end of the movie as she waited for her drink. It was a movie she had seen before, but her nerves were getting to her a little so she occupied herself.

After practice ended, Doug went home and showered. He remembered hearing from his girlfriend that Lina and Tom were doing something, so he decided to be nosy and snoop around Tom's house.

He pulled up across the street from Tom's house only a few minutes before Lina showed up. She never even saw me sitting there. I watch through the window as Lina sits down and Tom gets them both drinks... Damn, I am getting a bit thirsty. I grab a bottle of water out of the back and down it to quench my thirst.

After a while, Tom brings the drinks back and I finally decide the time is right. I get out of my car, walk up to the door and knock.

When someone finally answers, I say "I hear we got a bit of a party going on here... Mind if I join in on the fun?"

After a really easy practice with no defense to work through, Orion went home took a shower, and called his girlfriend Amy.

"Hey babe. Yeah, just got out of the shower. No, okay. Yeah I'll pick you up at 8. Alright love you."

With the conversation done, Orion started getting dressed for his and Amy's date.

"White wine, if you've got it."

Tom was delighted by her request, as that was pretty much his favorite drink. He smiled back at her.

"Sure thing."

Tom darted into the kitchen and opened up the small folding curtain from the kitchen into the living room. He watched her as he poured out the wine. She walked around aimlessly and sort of murmured to him.

"Great house."

To this, he replied,

"Thanks. Dad built it about twenty years ago, when they moved here."

She looked over at the endtable of the couch and picked up a photograph.

"This must be your family. They look nice."

Tom simply smiled at her. He then finished pouring the drinks and headed back into the living room. He just sat down when the doorbell rang again.

"Who could that be?"

He got back up, walked over to the door, and opened it. Doug was standing there, smiling a crooked smile and said,

"I hear we got a bit of a party going on here... Mind if I join in on the fun?"

Tom shook his head at him and rolled his eyes.

"This is kind of private, Doug. Can we possibly hang out tomorrow? A few rounds of pool at the bar, my treat."

Amy quietly opened the front door and stepped inside quietly closing it behind and sneaked across the floor but her father had heard her and said

"What are you doing"

She turned to the sofa and said

"Oh hi daddy, i was just going to get ready for my date with Orion"

Her dad turned around on the sofa facing her and said

"But you said you were going to do some revision"

she sighed and said

"Oh come on daddy you force me to revise all the time plus i am already tired from cheerleading practice and theres this new girl at school who i haven't met yet but some of the girls say she is a total bitch and weird because she talked to Tom and i was really looking forward to going out with Orion"

She smirked inside, not that her father knew it but she could control people just by talking to them well most people anyway people who weren't she hated, she didn't even try to control Orion he was the starting quarterback for PCH football after all and proberlly the fittest guy and school

her father sighed and said

"Fine whatever just don't be too late home"

She smiled and ran up the stairs reaching the top and heading to her bedroom her phone rang which she answered.

"Hey babe. Yeah, just got out of the shower. No, okay. Yeah I'll pick you up at 8. Alright love you."

She put the phone down as he did and started getting ready...

(if thomas_cox84 the occ or AntonioG want me to chnage that i will just pm me)

((it's alright, but you're alittle behind on your time. Tom's parents already left so my character and Tom are already alone at the house.))

While Doug and Tom talked at the door, Lina finsihed off her first glass of wine and went to the kitchen to pour another. She had a pretty high alcohol tolerance so she wasn't even buzzed yet. She poured another glass and went back to the living room.

She noticed that the movie had started so she called to Tom, "The movie is starting! I don't want to watch it by myself!" She slowly sipped her wine and watched the opening credits.

Orion pulled up to Amy's house, now his car blaring Staind. He got of the car armed the alram and walked to the door. He saw Tom and Doug talking.

"What's up guys? Tom, don't you have that new chick here tonight?"

When Tom answered that he did, he told him not to worry.

"Amy and I will be out of here soon, I'll just run up and get her."

He went inside up the stairs, waving to the new girl as he went. "Hey, welcome to PCH."

Once up the stairs he knocked on Amy's door. "Hey babe, you ready?"
