Year after year of completely false hope is not healthy for your psyche. If you want to root for a losing team, pick one with zero expectations, like the Browns or the Jets. They are much safer. Come to a safe space. We hate seeing you in pain

That Falcons team is the most unpredictable team in the entire league this year

I don't think this is about overconfidence. The Salary Cap has made it so that any team has the ability to beat any other team on any given day. But still...some teams simply have better rosters...better coaches. So the difference between poorly run teams and good teams is highlighted. Add in non-random variables such as the Gambling Industry and refs...it really is unpredictable week to week...at least it is now until the Games really matter.
