Just went into overtime.

Now that's a good championship game.

Go Buckeyes!

Did you see that Miami player get his knee bent totally backward? Reminded me of Joe Thiesman. Shivers.

Yeah, go Buckeyes, woo hoo! I can play their pep song by heart because my high school stole from Ohio State and I was in the marching band for four years. :D

They both deserve to lose, especially Ohio for their fucking stupid plays in the 4th.

And I want the buckeyes to win.

Fuck it.

I don't care so much that OSU just won. I'm just fucking glad the Canes lost.

It was a fucking gift. I hate Miami, but OSU sure as fuck didn't win that game.

So who wins the national championship? Miami for winning the game first or the RF who gave the game to Ohio?

Rhumb:rolleyes:

I hate both teams... actually I hate all teams from florida LOL...

but that was a frickin joke! Worst refing I've seen.. and in the national championship...

And that flag was thrown soooo fucking late. I think it must've come out of the OSU locker room or something.

It's an embarrassment to the NCAA and it should be an embarrassment to the OSU.

I don't really like either team.. especialy Ohio State since they are a rival of Michigan, but at least it was a Big 10 team that won it.

I concur.

Having been in that position before I can understand why it was late.

Shit put yourself in that situation. National championship game televised across North America.. one call decides a winner and a loser.. And you have to make a snap judgment about a play that took a mere three seconds to happen?

That's the one thing I don't like about OT in such big games.. teams start celebrating instantly then are made to look like fools once the play is called back.

The flag was late, and the contact was fairly typical. It could have been called, or it could have been ignored.
I thought the color analyst was unfair to the ref, because there was contact.
Oh, well.
It was a fun game to watch.

Yahoo! Damn!

:D  Yahoo, that Ohio State won. Damn, that it went into two overtimes (recording the game and tape ran out at beginning of 2nd OT)

It was a terrible pass interference call, but realistically, there was holding, and holding in the end zone would have brought up the exact same result: automatic first-and-goal from the one.

I think the ref was trying to make up for OSU's catch that was called incomplete that forced them to punt and allowed Miami to go down and tie the game.

Foud out today that McGahee tore three ligaments last night..

ESPN link

Ouch!

Hopefully he makes a full recovery and goes on to have a solid NFL career. I'm sure the score of last nights game may have been different if he was the man in the backfield.
