Previously, I have admitted an interest in celebrity stories, but advanced the view that few " celebs" are well enough defined to be more than interchangable figures in stories, so the appeal is limited to fans, and even then, excellent writing is needed.

Brendan Fraser is a well liked face, but what do we know of him? Not much.

Rachel weisz, his "wife" in The Mummy Returns, is less well known, but is lovely in a uniquely appealing way.

watching the movie Saturday, my wife rhapsodized that " now there's a couple I'd swap with". Given my wife never suggests foursomes ( or threesomes) without mucho tequila, that confirms they are magnetic on scene.

But is that enough for a story? I think not, and don't dare try, but if anyone writes it, I'd love to read it .

Not to veer, but I have to say that the scene of painted brunette walking down the hall in the beginning of the first movie was the most erotic scene I had seen in awhile. She was delicious. Didn't like her as much in the second movie.

Most of the characters in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns were all sexy men and women! I've fantasized about many of them, and Lord knows a story along this theme would be wonderful!

I'm convinced the wardrope people were instructed to see how low they could cut Rachel's tops without her falling out. And I bet they had to use two sided tape to strap her in.

how about you write one of your fantasies? :rose:

I almost feel guilty ignoring how cute Patricia Velasquez looks in The Mummy Returns, but I'm totally Rachel weisz obsessed. PV looks yummy, too. Rather than lowcut, they nicely display her in skintight. Was she a dancer in a previous life? She looks that way, and I love the tight dancer butts

I thought Rachel was utterly adorable in THE MUMMY. I was just captivated by her the whole time, she was so sweet. In THE MUMMY RETURNS she had more of a fierce, mommy-tiger vibe to her, which can also be pretty hot.

I've got no suggestions on how to make this a story, but Evie should definitely be involved.

Evie?

I am amazed none of the females posted an idea that Oded Fehr, the Isreali that plays the Arab Magi, ought to deserve a story. He sure turns my wife's crank , both in the Mummy movies and in Deuce Bigelow, where he plays the " man whore". I note he's also going to star in the new "Presidio Med" series on CBS this fall. with a cast including Blythe danner and Dana Delaney , the eyye candy appeals .

Sirhugs > mmm, the hottie with the facial tattoos? Yes, he does deserve a story! Your wife's not alone in that opinion.

care to write it? The challenge stioll daunts me. Here's a bad plot idea to start you thinking:

Rick ( Brendan Fraser) is tied up by the evil zombies. Their leader( Patricia Velasquez), says she will release Rick if Bey ( Fehr), has sex with EVIE ( Rachel). They reluctantly agree ( or he rapes her? I don't like rape stories, but you choose). Velasquez gets tirned on, joins in. Ebie then has trhe chance to free Rick, they run off, make passionate sex, as Fehr fucks Pat so hard she collapses ( is left tied up?), he escapes ( jons Rick and Evie for 3way?))

Sirhugs > sounds like fun, but my plate's very full at the moment so I can't take on any more projects. I'd sure read one, though!

Her Bio

A British actress whose name and dark looks effortlessly conjure up associations with Eastern European exoticism, Rachel Weisz first earned the attention of an international audience with her role as the spoiled daughter of a sculptor in Bernardo Bertolucci's Stealing Beauty (1996).

The daughter of a Jewish Hungarian inventor and an Austrian psychoanalyst (both sides of the family fled Fascist Europe during the 1930s,) Weisz was born in London on March 7, 1971. Much of her adolescence was spent modeling, and after attending Cambridge to study English, she broke into acting with a role in Sean Matthias' West End revival of Noel Coward's Design for Living. Weisz's performance in the play won her the Critics' Circle Best Newcomer award, and she subsequently took advantage of this recognition with a starring role in the BBC's TV adaptation of Scarlet and Black (1993), and then, in 1996, with her aforementioned part in Bertolucci's Stealing Beauty.

Although most attention was paid to Liv Tyler in her role as the film's protagonist, Weisz managed to garner notice of her own, and this recognition was furthered by her top billing opposite Keanu Reeves in Chain Reaction that same year.

Unfortunately, the big-budget thriller was an unmitigated turkey; Weisz followed it with leads in smaller films such as The Land Girls (1997), a WWII drama that cast her as a young socialite sent to work on a farm; and Going All the Way (1997), a post-war coming-of-age drama starring Ben Affleck and Jeremy Davies that saw Weisz play Wasp Affleck's Jewish girlfriend.

After returning to Britain to star as a hairdresser in the noirish drama I Want You (1998), Weisz reappeared on the Hollywood radar as Brendan Fraser's damsel in distress in the 1999 summer blockbuster The Mummy. That same year, she played yet another love interest, that of a womanizing Ralph Fiennes in Sunshine, István Szabó's epic drama about three generations of a family of Hungarian Jews.

Weisz' subsequent turn in the period drama Enemy at the Gates (2000) saw her play the inamorata of yet another Fiennes brother, Joseph. As a Russian American sniper caught between the affections of a Russian party official (Fiennes) and a legendary sniper (Jude Law), the actress again returned to the early part of the 20th century (this time the Battle of Stalingrad) and to the deep end of the Fiennes family gene pool.

Just lusting thinking about the report that she would write.

I might eventually try the " kidnap" plot, if anyone else thibks its interesting. Meanwhile, I worked off part of my Rachel Weisz jones by including her by reference in my library story, " After Hours Adventure"

the fact her character starts as a librarian was , ahem, inspirational ( I don't usually get hard as I write :) )
