I did it. I really went ahead and did it.

Took me long enough.

(I hope I am not too late: Seriously, Killermuffin, don't click the link. It has flashing lights on the page, and I don't want you to have a seizure. )

2002 Model Gretchicons

What do you think?

Will you be submitting me to Blinkerfluid.com now, for having a totally useless website?

Thanks April, I wanted to do something totally whimsical for the holidays.

Lav, I am gonna have to come down to Texiland and bring my el camino camerino with me.

We can do Lavicons, Nevicons, Mischicons, and I'll swing over to N.O. to do some Funboicons.

Cry Havoc,
And let slip the Starfish of war!

Its an entire battalion of Starfish.

The only problem I have is the flashing dots - bad UI practice and annoying. Sorry, but someone had to say it.

You are going to end up on my list of people I make an angry face at. :D

That is all part of the whole joke. Get it? Did you read the little thing next to the icon of me with the lightbulb over my head?

I actually wanted to bring this up elsewhere, but why is it bad UI practice? I am a visual artist, not an information distributor. If I had an site I wanted people to use as a web tool, I wouldn't do that sort of thing, but when I make galleries of pictures and other things, I feel it is almost essential to add a complimenting background to the concept. So many people preach that you should only use lightly colored, plain backgrounds, and I find that to be boring and uncomplimenting in certain situations.

I understand the philosophy behind it, as I've had it shoved down my throat in Internet and Web classes, but I find that mundane shit more annoying that a flashing light scheme on a artistic webpage.

Well, to each his own, but I am not gonna change it because it is part of it all.

Anyone, like KM, who can't look at that sort of thing, I understand, but if people arn't going to read the content because of a background they don't like, then it doesn't matter to me.

:D

I love them! They won't be an annoyance, no way! what a fun thing to do!

I was going to say earlier but I had to run, I absolutely love your new av! :)

I present 'its Snowing' Starfishicon.

Oh my god that is funny. I saved it and I am gonna add it in. LOL

Thanks for the lovely compliments everyone.
Raindancer, you are adorable and sweeter than I deserve to be around.

Blushing Rose, You and I would be fabulous. I can think of others to come with. IFB can be our production manager, and our host (we need a place to crash out everynight. I refuse to sleep in the streets in NO. Been there, done that... never again. )

Thanks for the compliments on the artwork too.
