The most 'perfectest' date ever...

Who knew you could have such a wonderful time with a four year old? Sometimes the most spontaneous actions in life turn out to be the sweetest.

Yep they can :)

I love those type of dates......

They like cuddling, kissing and loving on. They believe your the best woman alive, their eyes light up with joy when they see you arrive and are sad when you go...

*sigh* lol

That was a clever post :D

We men could take a lesson from this four year-old I fear. What a gentleman!

I'm having a quiet at-home evening with my date. He's just finishing watching a special TV program while i dabble here for a short time. After that, we'll retire. We'll read and cuddle and then quietly, contentedly, drift off to sleep together, my five year old son and i.

Desert Amazon, that's so precious. Oh and I know what you mean. I've had a few of those myself. *sigh*

Awwww :) How sweet.....

My date for the night went out with someone else instead...his three year old son ;) Took him to feed the ducks then brought him into the store to pick up a gallon of milk while the lil'one was passed out on his shoulder. It is amazing to see someone so small and innocent as that kid fast asleep and protectively cuddled in the arms of someone so tall and big as my boyfriend. Makes my heart melt completely...the kid even blew me a kiss when they left earlier. I do not mind one bit that I had to call off my date, just seeing those two together is enough to make me smile all night long. It's not often you see a man raising his kid since birth, and I take pride in the fact that my boyfriend though big and bulky looking can be so gentle and loving as he is. :)

Kids are adorable :)

mental note: need to move to where she lives and find mahself a man like hers.

:D

Halo :rose:

I cherish those times since I know that they are going to be short-lived at best.

You're one smart sweetheart, D.A.

Glad to hear you had a special time with your son.

Nothing better than a 4 year old that loves The Clash...My niece loves em too and boy can she boogie lol.....Though my sister says I have corrupted her daughter.........;)

Lovely post, DA. Sounds like a nice evening, indeed.

But when I act like a 4-yr-old, things never seem to go that well.

On my birthday

my 14-year-old son took me out to dinner. When we got the menus he looked at his, checked his wallet, and said "Order whatever you want, Mom." While we had dinner, he actually told me about some girl he "likes." Then he told me, "I want to be a writer, I love writing, too."

It was maybe the best date of my life. I love that kid.

I always feel better when I see you posting.

It's been awhile. I miss you my friend. ~Hugs~
