The Morning Midas.

The OP posted a topic and you related it to something else.

So perhaps it is.
We get it. You hate Ish. I'm sure the mods will handle it if it is inappropriate. Or you could report it. :)

Matson Shipping LInes will no longer be transportng EV's, effective immediately. They connect the West Coast to Hawaii....so no more EV's being shipped to Hawaii, and if you own an EV and are moving to Hawaii, you're going to be out of luck.

I imagine you can order direct from Shanghai. :D

More carriers are refusing to take EV's or charging outrageous surcharges for shipping. Yet another reason the Chinese EV companies are going tits up.

Yep - when you look at it from the shipping company's perespective, they risk losing a ship of an EV fire breaks out - that clip sets out really well how impossible it is to fight an EV fire at sea - once one starts, that ship is pretty much gone. With a crew of 20 odd people, and the way those cars are packed in, there's no way to isolate an EV fire and put it out. Insurance company rates will reflect the risks, and likely more shipping companies will either come to the same decison as Matson has made or the shipping costs will go up to reflect the risks.

I suspect the CCP will get around this by flagging and insuring their own carriers.

How are EV's being shipped by sea relevant to Tesla? Tesla batteries are made in Nevada shit for brains.
That’s a great question and proved my point. You’re still asking other people to do your homework for you.

On a different, but related subject, CMA CGM, a French company, is re-flagging their vessels to US registry. Hmmmmm?
