The Moreau World OOC Thread

Alright, at the suggestion of Maid of Marvels, I've decided to put up an OOC thread for this thread.

IC Thread

Before joining, submit a character bio containing the essential information.

Name: Victor Hartigan
Age: 18
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 145 lbs
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Blue (left), yellow (right)

Description: Vic is a tall and lean young man with long, dark brown hair and shapely, angular features. He has the build of a track athlete and a detached air about him. He always dresses in solid black and hides his eyes behind a pair of mirrored shades. If asked, he claims it's because bright lights give him a headache.

The truth is that Victor is only half-human. His mother is a human, but his father is a lupine Moreau. Victor's father conceals his nature just as his son does, because the union of a Moreau and a human is considered horribly taboo despite its legality. Vic fits in with neither community, so he simply conceals his nature and voluntarily excludes himself from both.

His solitude has made him very introspective and incredibly artistic. His passion lies in drawing, photography, film, music, and any other medium he can get his hands on.

Name: Daniel Regalis
Age: 22
Height: 6'1
Weight 165
Hair: short, blonde
Eyes: Ice blue with rimless glasses

Daniel is an MIT student of Semi-Human Biology. He was always the smart kid in high school, and was picked on most of the time. He was also a bit skinny when he was a kid, but he began working out and grew a bit leaner, yet he didn't exactly get incredibly very muscular.

Daniel is a full blooded Serpent Moreau, which manifests in his ability to sense heat, and his long slim toung. He can do nothing about his tounge's appearence, so he doesn't say much in order to keep it concealed. In moments of great duress, his eyes become serpentine as well. Luckily for some bullies from his high school, he did not inherit his father's venom glands.

Those that get to know Daniel and aren't bothered by his tounge find him a very personable man, with a quick wit and charming personality, unfortunately, he tries to keep his mouth shut around people he doesn't know very well so that they don't freak out about his tounge

Jennifer Knowles teaches at the local high school in Jacobstown. A Moreau, she appears more human than some, though her skin is covered with the tiniest of scales.

At home, she is more relaxed, shedding her clothing and fully enjoying her life as a hybrid chameleon.

Name: Adam Grimshaw
Age: 22
Height: 6
Weight: 190
Hair: Short, black but greying on the ends.
Eyes: Bright yellow with wolf pupils (vertical black slits).
Moreau species: Wolf.
Moreau characteristics: Wolf eyes, wolf tail (dark and grey, puffy), unusually-early-greying hair, abnormally developed upper body (very muscled).


Adam looks surprisingly human, barring his upper body (which he tends to hide under a jacket, which hides the few extra mellimeters that go from "well-built" to "Woah, dude"), eyes and tail. His hair greying is also an attention-attracting liability for him.

Adam was raised in a small town where Moreaus were not unwelcome, seeing how their special characteristics were useful for the community. Adam himself was tuned with nature itself, able to live in the forest without difficulty thanks to the mix of human and wolf skills and characteristics in his body.

When he was 20, he started travelling around the country, preferring to go through forests and valleys rather than following the roads. He doesn't dislike humans, and he has a strong sense of justice when it comes to defend those he perceives as being weaker. Strangely enough, he doesn't usually receive much gratitude for this. Still, his strength and hard-working attitude, coupled with his honesty, make him a great worker. He often earns his bread by carrying out heavy labours, construction and grounds keeping mostly.

Why he wanders around, he doesn't know himself. He just feels an attraction for adventure, more or less. He might stay in one town two months, and three in the next, but his reasons for doing this are more instinctual than well thought.

Name: Francesca (Frankie) Anderson
Age: 18
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 120
Hair: straight, bright red, falls to the middle of back
Eyes: reddish brown with vertical black slits
Moreau species: Red Fox
Moreau characteristics: sharp facial features, pointed ears, small, sharp (but not pointed) teeth, a bushy red tail with a black tip, reddish brown eyes with the animal-like pupils

Description:
Frankie is half Moreau, on her mother's side, though she inherited more of her traits than her father's. Her mother died when she was young and Frankie was never told what, or who, killed her. When she began going through her rebellious stage and hanging out with all "the wrong people" her successful lawyer of a father decided to move them to Jacobstown. He worked just outside of town and was completely oblivious to all the violence going on in town.

Boys tend to like to beat Frankie and send her home with bruises and scrapes, which she manages to hide from her father. Despite this, she is very outgoing and friendly when it comes to other Moreaus or Moreau sympathizers. This comes from all her years in the city, where she had many Moreau and human friends. People were more openminded in the city, and Frankie desperately wants to move back when she gets out of school.

Weight: 190 pounds
Hair Color: Brown with what appears to be black highlights
Eye Color: Brown
Moreau Species: Wolf
Moreau Characteristics: Wolf ears, Canine eyes, canine teeth and claws, Wolf musculature, Wolf tail (Brown with a black tip), and canine senses.

Appearance: Lupe is a wolf moreau that appears to have come from Latina stock. She has a dark complection with her canine eyes and hair. She is very muscular but has the curves a girl should. She would be called handsome more than beautiful.

Bio: Lupe is a full blooded Moreau. Her parents have made sure she was taught how to defend herself with her natural tools as well as various mixed styles of self defense. She is a very loyal friend to those who earn her friendship and she doesn't stand well with anyone mistreating Moreaus.

Eyes: Assortment of colors changed depending on the mood he is in mostly Light blue though

Description:Neko is a Half-ling in this crazy world although given animal instincs as a hybred,he is no where near the animal as some others he knows ,he is more human and thinks so as well, the small hospital they have him in for study treats him poor on the reason he is under human investigation, just seeing what makes him tick he has high resistance to electricity for some reason and high traces of ice and water in his blood they ignored it but neko has been there for 18 years it was about time he be free and he find a way to do so.
