This is a porn site and we play everyday...meeting new people, talking among each other, having fun and making new friends. We wish each other Happy Birthday, try to solve each others problems and are there for each other.....

How many years now? Do you still feel the impact it had on your life. I do. I still remember talking with my mother on the phone and looking on the TV in disbelief. I remember asking about friends who worked there. I remember crying as I watched it all. I remember the smoke that headed our way, because we live just across the river and my son not being able to play for recess at school.

I remember the faces of the ones left behind and the determination of the firefighters, police, nurses, doctors, emts, and strangers, looking for anyone alive.

SO REMEMBER.... It didn't just affect our Great Country but others as well. It was not just our people that mourned.

I will never forget the Month of Sepember.... :rose: :rose:

110 Stories
By Sasha Taylor

110 stories fell on top of me today,
I didn’t think the pain would ever go away.

When it finally did I realized where I was at,
Sitting at the gates of Heaven was exactly where I sat.

I tried to remember; at last it finally came,
Could this be a joke? Is this some sick twisted game?

A loud explosion from upstairs,
People panic and start to yell,

A man in a wheel chair starts to cry,
All I could think of was I was going to die.

Step after Step we ran from our fears,
I thought I would drown from the flow of our tears.

People started panicking and going insane,
I knew exactly what they were feeling for I felt their pain.

Nobody knew what happened,
All we knew was we didn’t have long,
To get out of the building before it was collapsed and gone.

All of a sudden I felt the ground start to shake,
None of this was real it was totally fake.

Then the floors started to fall,
I froze from panic, and couldn’t believe what I saw.

The smoke was so thick I couldn’t see,
Why in the world was this happening to me?

My life is now gone; on this earth I have no more time,
Even though I'm innocent I never committed the crime.

Who Am I
By Kimberly Dunne

I am no one special.

I'm the little boy that gives up his favorite teddy bear so that a stranger might be comforted.

I'm the single mother who has been trying to teach her child to sleep in their own bed, who holds them tight long into the night, thanking God it wasn't her child that died.

I'm the old man, angry and resentful that his military doesn't want him because of his age.

I'm the teenage girl that spends hours cutting ribbons for others to wear as a symbol of remembrance.

I'm the young man who doesn't understand why his father was running up the stairs as the building fell, trying to save just one more person, instead of saving himself.

I'm the old woman who will never see her grandchild again.

I'm the little girl, playing with her doll, who can't understand when someone screams hateful things at her because of where her family is from.

I'm the police officer, trying to keep idiotic reporters safe, when his wife is still among the missing.

I'm the fire fighter that called in sick that day, only to discover that someone else died in his place.

I'm the man who survived the falling building only to learn that his sister and baby niece were in the plane.

I'm the secretary, angered by the seemingly callous response of those around her.

I'm a spelunker, who is climbing down into the remains of a building, hoping to find someone still alive.

I'm the dog handler, searching for bodies, that has to comfort my animal when only death remains.

I'm the woman who stands in line for five hours in order to give blood, hoping to help strangers in need.

I'm the man who gets up and goes to work every day, in spite of the tragedy, because he still has a family to feed.

I'm the first passenger to get back on a plane, even though I'm terrified, because I know somebody has to be first.

Who am I?

I'm nobody special.

I'm just an American.

OMG - that made me cry, watching that. I'll never forget how much I cried that day. Thank you for posting.

:rose: - For all of us who cried

Proud To Be An American

As the Ann of September 11th comes around. I sit at home and still think about all the Americans that Died on that horriable day.

I was at work that morning and heard about it and stood there not believing what has happened, Thinking to myself who in thier right mind would do this.

My cousin had just left for boot camp for the Air Force and Today I am so very proud of her and her husband they serve to protect every last one of us.

Just Recently my cousins Husband got orders to go to Iraq and a brave man stood up and offered to go in his place because my cousin had just had a baby girl and she was sick and he thought that the most important thing is for him to be there so he went for him and to find out a couple of weeks after he went he was killed in the line of duty. Thinking that could have been Justin sends shivers down my spine. So to the man who traded his life for the innocent baby girl that my cousin and Justin had so she will get a chance to know her father I say Thank you and God Bless.

And to all Americans as this dreadful day comes among us let Stand Togeather and Stand proud And show that they hit us but they can't bring us down...

Sexylady..i stopped and looked at this thread a few times before I decided to post..People that know me know I lost a very close person in my life..named Eamon ..He was one of the most awesome athletes ever! He was a fantastic person. He was a great lacrosse player that led Cornell to two consecutive undefeated seasons and two straight NCAA titles...
His heroics weren't limited to sports..He was working in the trade center in 93 during the first bombing and saved 63 co-workers leading them to safety from the 105th floor.
He wrote poetry and was a loving husband and a wonderful father. He was well liked by everyone that he met. Say a prayer for Eamon and all the other wonderful people that lost their lives way too early...

To this day, it is hard to see pictures, or see programs like the one on ESPN Classic, about how sports came to a halt, where in the beginning, they showed the jets barrel into the Towers, without breaking down. In there, I lost many friends, because I worked in the securities industry, where clients and customers become almost like a brotherhood. Also, back in the 80's, I myself worked on the 87th floor of 1 WTC. So 9/11 will always carry a saddening effect on all I do that day.

To think, at the moment, I am listening to a cd that was pulled from the shelves because of it's cover art of the NYC skyline in flames....Dream Theatre's "Live Scenes from New York"

To those who lost loved ones and friends, I extend my heart felt sorrow and grief.

:rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose

I will never forget. To quote someone else.

In Memory of 343, who on September 11 gave so much.

DO YOU REMEMBER???

I for one will always remember…

I will forever remember where I was at that moment. I was in a meeting at work when my wife called. She told my secretary it was an emergency. And it was. When I got the message, I immediately broke up the meeting. Everyone went to their offices to get on their computers and call family and friends. One of our engineers that lives close to the office rushed home and brought back a TV that we set up in our conference room.

We all sat around the conference room and watched as the events unfolded that fateful morning. When the second plane crashed, we tried to send everyone home. And not a single person left. Everyone in that room formed the kind of emotional bond born out of fear and anger and compassion for those involved. The kind of bond repeated thousands, maybe millions of times that day across America. I comforted two crying women in our office and helped them try to understand what was happening. And what it would mean for America.

Because of my position as an elected official in my community, I have the privilege of working with a variety of people within the police, fire and EMS departments. I have found them to be some of the most dedicated professionals I have ever met. Those that are willing to risk themselves for others.

I also work for a company that supports every branch of the military. Being involved in sales exposes me to the users. The soldiers, airmen and seamen that defend our rights and freedoms around the world. It is with great pride that we design and build the tools that these fine men and women use to assemble the greatest force in the world. A military that risks life and limb daily yet resists the awesome power at their disposal to unleash it on the undeserving masses. Instead, they stay the course, defend themselves as necessary and take the fight to the enemy where find them. All for little pay and often less respect.

As a Texan, I would also like to add one comment about New York in particular. Like used car salesmen or lawyers, New Yorkers often find themselves the brunt of jokes and ridicule. But the remarkable spirit of the city and the people is truly inspiring. Their united strength and resolve to care for their own grieving, deal with the tragedy and lead the entire nation in it’s most troubling time since World War II is inspiring to all. The spirit, pride and patriotism they exhibited, not as New Yorkers, but as Americans, is something I will always look to for inspiration.
