It's meaningless babble on the level of PragerU. The totalitarian regimes of the 20th Century were regrettable, but they did not involve any "mass psychosis." They involved a fanatical minority getting control of the levers of the state, and the majority just going along with it as majorities always do -- "Whatever is, is right" always seems like common sense to most humans. Furthermore, totalitarian rulers do not condition their subjects by isolating them -- to the contrary, they do it by bringing them together in massive organizations like the Hitler Youth and the Komsomol.
