This is a boarding school specifically catering to ages thirteen through twenty one (for all roleplaying purposes no participants will be under age eighteen), nestled in a quiet corner of southern Italy near Santa Cesarea. The academy's architecture is very similar to that of an old church, with a domed ceiling and Indian-inspired details and fixtures. It almost seems out of place amongst its woody companions, as though it needed to be in the midst of an Arabian desert. But that is completely alright with the Madam who looks over the students at Lunar, because few know of its existence anyway. Only a select portion of the human population is aware of the fantastic place, and if the unknown stumbled upon it by accident, they would think nothing odd by it; simply a boarding school for students from around the world.

Quaint little place.

Looking for students (and teachers!) to take part in this interactive roleplay. All participants must be 18 or older, to comply with Lit rules, and your character will be attending the Lunar Academy either for the first time, or has been there a few years. As the above paragraph states, the school accepts students as young as 13, so you can say your character has been there since that age if you wish, or they could be a new arrival.

Also, each student at Lunar has a secret. Maybe unknown even to them at the moment, but every single person at the academy has a unique 'ability' - it's part of the qualifications for admittance, so you can't get around that (unless your character's parents lied, and how fun would that be?). The parents are usually aware of this ability, and they also must be aware of the school (meaning they went there themselves or married someone who went there, etc) in order to submit your application to be admitted.

Your character doesn't have to be from Italy. As the intro also says, they school boasts students from all over the world. So your character can be from the US, China, Australia, the North Pole, Mars... I don't care. So if you would like to join the school, either as a student or a professor (or both - separate characters, obviously), post your character's name and a brief description (looks, their ability, if they've been at the school or are just being accepted) below. I'll edit the roster as the characters are created.

*No powerplaying. This means your character cannot be Super(wo)man, or the most powerful/beautiful student in the school. Nor can you have a power that controls anyone's actions (everything must be consensual).

*No students OR professors under age 18. We want to make sure everything we're doing here is legit, okay?

*Please try to avoid excessive typos and bad grammar (this includes things like punctuation and complete sentences). I understand we all have our slip-ups, but I would prefer that this thread have as little of that as possible.

Rachel, a young woman of 18 that's been living at the Lunar Academy since she's been 13. Her family's lineage included some interested in the arts of Necromancy and Illusion spells, though her own work in these fields have been less than adequate for her parents. Her light purple hair is kept in a long braid that goes down to her lower back, and her soft blue eyes are normally hidden underneath her bangs. She works hard, trying to become as good at her skills as her parents have been, but sometimes her eye would catch another student and thoughts of them, not her work, would fill her mind.

Name: Boomer Markson

Age: 19

Appearence: Mid-Sized at about 5'11, Boomer weighs 175 lbs. He has dark, ragged, brown hair which just about covers his brown eyes. His eyes are deep, as if always thinking, or as if never aware of what is going on, its hard to tell. His skin is lightly tanned from his constant time spent outside. Athletically built, Boomer could easily hold his own in a fist fight if he wanted to. His shirts are almost all tie-dyed, and he almost wears a pair of jeans. His shorts are simply jeans that he has cut short. His shoes are black, worn, faded. Its impossible to even tell the brand. His clothing is meant purely for comfort.

Attitude: Boomer is totally in all senses of the word, a hippie. He hates any sort of physical conflict, but does enjoy a good debate on something. Boomer loves to see other people happy and comfortable, and is quite good-natured. He allows anyone in his room, at almost anytime, even if they just want to talk. Boomer loves women, and is not embarressed by nudity at all. In fact, he would probably walk around naked is he was allowed. An over-all 'buddy' type, Boomer is fun to be around.

Background: Boomer has been living at the school for roughly five years, ever since 14, when he finally had started liking girls. As soon as his parents noticed this, for some odd reason, they sent him up, all the way from Los Angeles, to this boarding school in Italy. He is having fun here though, and has learned to speak Italian very well. Though, his accent from California is hard to shake.

Skill: Boomer can speak to animals, insects, fish. Any living creature that produces a sound in order to communicate, he can understand. He has attempted to speak to plants, but to no avail. Few know of his ability, as he barely ever mentions it. He also has a somewhat overactive sexual-drive, though this is less of a skill, more of a personal oddity.

Possesions: Boomer has several pets. Two dogs, Jerry and Clyde. An angelfish, Jane. And a cat, Vegabond, who more or less barely lives with Boomer, and tends to spend time in other people's rooms. Boomer's acoustic guitar hangs on his wall.

Jerry: Mid-sized black Lab, has a very mellow attitude, has been with Boomer longer than Clyde. Jokes alot, takes care of Clyde.

Clyde: Mixed smaller dog, mainly doberman. Boomer found him and took him in, Clyde gets easily excited, and for some reason, is turned on by human women. Often tries to give Boomer dating advice.

Vegabond: Pure black shorthair tabby, tells Boomer of the goings-on around the school, is a sort of under-cover agent for him.

Jane: Has a cynical attitude, makes fun of Boomer alot, Boomer still loves the fish.

Extras: Boomer's real name is Jones, but he hates that name, and after being called 'Jonesey' for awhile, he just asked his dog, Jerry, to give him a nickname. Boomer has stuck with that nickname.

I'd like to join. I propose the character:

Andrew O'Donovan, an exchange student from Ireland, age 19. His mother is a druid who had a relationship with a mysterious natural spirit.

Andrew has some minor skills with plants and the weather. He might potentially develop some other powers and have the occasional outburst of larger talent, but his powers, like nature, are unpredictable and his control is very sketchy, especially if he tries to channel more power than usual.

His eyes and hair are of a deep green colour, turning red in fall and icy blue in winter, though he usually dyes his hair black to avoid traumatizing people and keeps a stash of colour contacts on hand as misdirection.

Andrew has had difficulty finding friends in the past due to his shifting appearance and surprising abilities. He never really fit in at normal schools and his mother and step-father, both druids, didn't really understand his desire for companions his own age. According to their philosophy, he should have been content to learn druidic magic and commune with nature.

It was his half-sister Katie who rebelled first and started playing around with computers and technology, initially to shock her parents. She became a very skilled hacker and learned of the Lunar Academy online. When she told Andrew about it, he became very excited, and the two of them enrolled him as an exchange student for a year. His mother was somewhat ambivalent about it, but was encouraged at the thought that her son might learn to enjoy his abilities there.

Their parting gift to Andrew was, at Katie's insistance, a small laptop( At their mother's insistance, it runs on solar power), allowing him to keep in touch with them.

Andrew eagerly awaits the beginning of the term and hopes to finally meet people who won't find him bizarre or unusual. Having never really even had any friends, he's completely inexperienced with regard to romantic situations, etc, although he regards himself as somewhat bisexual as far as he knows.

The Konwell family has been hosts to a race of aliens that once tried to take over earth. During this attempt the aliens were found out, and so the aliens, whos name "Have to many Qs, and not enough Us" as her mother put it would have whiped the human race from the planet. Instend the Konwell family offered their daughters as hosts. The konwell family was large, but not large enough for a whole alien breeding ground, but the offer was enough to let a rich alien family buy the planet from the galatic alien guild. Because of this the two families live with each other, each new female born into the Kon well family has a alien implanted in them at birth.

The aliens themselfs have a slight telepathic ability, not enough for mind control, at least not at a young age, but enough to feed ideas to others, or make the offer from it's host seem more appealing. The aliens feed off a of emotional enegry given off by all humans, although the females with a alien would think other, as the aliens fest the most when their host has sex, And not sex with a male but a female. Many have asked why this is and the aliens give a long complex answer that makes no sense, so it was long ago given up on getting a understanable answer from them. The aliens reach a teenage state after 5 human years, and remain in this state for another 60 or so human years. The aliens let their host mate once in their life time, and the host's offspring is always female, making it so the alien offspring has a host. During sex the aliens extend translucent tentacles to help their host, and the female their host is having sex with reach what ever peak that is needed to fest. many times the females are told to forget about them or to beleave it was all some odd dream, very offen it works, although some have retained their memory of the night. The alien only every extends outside of it's host during sex, and not during mating with a male. The alien also is in constent contact with their host.

Mel grew up a normal girl for the most part, although she told her mom she heard a odd voice talking to her, her mother told her not to worry about that and she'd understand when she was older. When she was 13 she was sent to Lunar Academy and was told of her family history, at first it was scary, but after 5 years at the school it's become normal life, although when she hit 18 her alien friend became very hungry. Self pleasuring herself is become less effective to feed her symbiotic friend. She offen forgets she can just think to talk to it and offen talks out loud, many times getting her strange looks from people near her.

I suppose I should give the short bio/description for my character, Ember.

Ember Lennox is eighteen and a half years old (not that she's counting days until her birthday, particularly) and has been at Lunar Academy for about two years. She is originally from Ireland, where her parents still reside, along with her younger sister. She has a brother a year older than herself who attended the school for a short time but felt he was out of place there and has since moved back home to help care for their sister, who is only eleven at the moment. Their father is an editor for the local newspaper, and their mother is a nurse at the nearby hospital. Her brother was, obviously, the first in the family to find out about his special ability, which he has kept a secret from his sister for the past seven years. It's not that he is ashamed of his talents - quite the opposite, actually - but he never saw the need to pollute his young sister's mind with what he had been taught were adult feelings. After all, when he learned about his abilities, he was only twelve years old, and she just as young as their sister Elisabeth. Eric Lennox didn't want the thought that he had told such things to his sister haunting him for all eternity.

Seven years later, however, the same young Ember is now enrolled at Lunar Academy, holding back secrets of her own. She loves Italy, and although her Irish-born accent has never left, like many of the other students she has learned a bit of the native tongue. Not that she hardly ever sets foot outside of the school grounds, however. She keeps very much to herself, and participates in very little extracurricular activities aside from dancing. She loves to dance, and has done so nearly all of her life. Due to her experience, she has developed a very limber body, and can do things near that of a contortionist. She has never exploited her talent, though, even though she feels her dancing skills far surpass anyone else on the dancing squad.

Ember's hair is naturally fiery red, the classic Irish beauty although she has no freckles and sports crystal blue eyes instead of green. She has also dyed large strips of her curls black, in stark contrast to the bright red. Her lightly tanned skin is also not normal for her Irish heritage, but this is probably due to her recent large exposure to the Italian sun. Her build is slender, with a dancer's grace and delicate hands. Her breasts are probably around a C-cup and on the verge of being too large for her small frame, and anyone who had ever bedded her would know that she keeps her pussy clean-shaven.

Lilith is a beautiful woman and is on the verge of being what most people call a big beautiful woman. She is not fat but she's got an ass, a fine set of hips, and a chest, 42 DD's to be exact. She went to the academy when she was a girl after having spent many years in the Russian circus with her two older brothers. All three of them were dancing bears and were quite the talented performers but she wanted something better for herself when she was young and her mother and father got her out and enrolled her into Lunar Academy.

She is a talented dancer and gymnast and can sing quite well for anyone. She does have an accent and is known for her bear-like temperment.

Annabelle came to Lunar Academy fairly recently, aged 18, after a sheltered upbringing. She has a rather strange special power, in that she can cause some food stuffs to expand spontaneously. This works especially well for things like chocolate and cream, which is why Annabelle is a bit chubby. She can't control her power directly though. It is driven by her hunger and desire. If she sees a delicious chocolate eclair she may well cause a cream explosion without even meaning it. She has to keep eating snacks to keep her appetite in check to prevent accidents like that.

Annabelle has shoulder length black hair, fair skin, and is chubby, or "curvy" and she would put it, with a big bum and large breasts.

Christopher was born to a well off family just outside of Chicago, IL. He was their first and as it turned out only child. Shortly after his third birthday his parents were both killed in a horrific car crash. It had made regional news as they were relativly prominent members of the community, but at only three Chris really had no way of comprehending what had happened.

He spent the next 13 years moving between relatives across the entire country until he started to notice he was hearing things that he shouldnt be able to. He tried to explain what was happening to him, but everyone scoffed at the idea until one day his uncle finally took the time to listen.

He knew that Christopher was special and that he needed to go somewhere that could help him better understand what was happening to him and that is how he ended up at Lunar just before his 16th birthday.
