The Loveless Inn/Tavern II {OOC/Recruiting}

Hello. This is the sequel to Incubus Knight's original idea. He had to leave and chose to delete the introduction for players to make sense of the thread. Whatever his reason, some of the players wanted to continue the thread but we need people. So here's the premise.

The Loveless Inn/Tavern is a place on another world. This will allow people to play whatever type of sentient they might want to. This world has a spaceport but it's technology level otherwise is that of modern day Earth.

Before Mankind or any other race settled this world it had an elder race. This race had a Goddess of Love. But sentients being as they are there are always unbelievers. In one instance several men found this Goddess and they attacked her. The Goddess was raped by these men but this ended up a double edged sword for them. This was indeed a Goddess of Love and as the mens' passions rose they were driven into a fever pitch by the Goddess. In the end the Goddess and her attackers died. However this infused into the very ground the event occured on with an aura of Lust and Passion. Anyone wandering onto this ground would be affected.

When the Humans and other races colonized this world a man and his wife built the Loveless Tavern/Inn on the site. They didn't realize what they had done. Over the years the Loveless Inn/Tavern has changed hands several times. The last inheritor had been overtaken by the aura of the Inn and after an event under the influence of the Inn he fled the site and made legal arrangements passing the Inn on to the one servant the Inn had.

This story will resume where the original thread ended and poor Little Maria the Maid will find herself the owner of the Inn once the next day begins.

If this sounds interesting to anyone please feel free to post a profile and we'll get the IC thread up and running. As I said previously here, you may run pretty much any race from any form of fiction. But please remember the rules of the site. We don't really need a dragon coming in and molesting the womenfolk(Or Menfolk.). Also remember age is an issue. This thread could well end up getting quite graphic.

Roles we could use are: Barkeep for the Tavern, Waitresses, maid staff, Inn customers, Tavern regulars, or pretty much anything you want to play.

Personality/Bio: Maria is a latina/cat girl. She has alot of the personality traits of both halves of her make up. Physically she can slip through any place she can get her head into. She also has the grace, strength, and quickness of a cat. Vertically slit eyes give her excellent night vision an her claws are retractable. She has dark skin and hair with green eyes. She has worked at the Inn since she was fifteen and she has been under the influence of the Inn long enough that she simply sees it as a natural part of her. She is good natured unless angered. If angered she is a bad person to have mad at you.

History: Afro's father had been the greatest warrior in the world during Afro's time period. Unfortunately this made him a target for every man who wanted to make a name of themselves and eventually Afro's father met his match in the form of a mysterious sorcerer with near endless power. Afro watched as his father was beheaded right before his eyes, the sorcerer deciding it would be more cruel to allow Afro to live with the pain of his father's death spared his life, challenging him to come for him when he was ready for his own death.
Afro's life became one of constant training, honing his mastery of the sword to near perfection. Possessed with a magic blade said to be the only artifact that could pierce the sorcerer's magic he went in search of his vengenance. The battle was fought over many days, their power tearing apart the very earth around them, but finally Afro emerged victorious, plunging his sword deep into the heart of the sorcerer, draining his magic. But with his death knell the sorcerer used his magic to sling Afro forward through time and space, stranding him in an unfamiliar world. With his quest complete Afro had no reason to return to earth and so he wandered this strange new world, finally finding himself at the Loveless Tavern. Something about the place called to Afro and so he settled in as a patron, eventually his fighting prowess earning him employment with the tavern.

Personality: He is very quiet and reserved. He speaks few words and only those words when he feels it is completely necessary. Still the tavern has made him open up a little, as the age old magic of the place has seeped into his being to do battle with his stoic demeanor. He holds to many old values of his people, believing in the Bushido code above all else, but he still allows his temper to take over on occasions, especially when he feels one of the female patrons of employees of the tavern is being treated illy.

Bio/Personality: Seri doesn't talk much about her past. Her people exiled her for a murder she didn't commit- though she knew exactly who the killer was. To turn against her sister, though, seemed far worse a thing than to be forced away from her planet. The tavern has become a new home for her, where she doesn't have to worry about her past coming back to haunt her... instead, she only needs to worry about the present and future. Normally quite lighthearted and friendly, Seri also is easily confused. She's very open to talking about most things- some things more than others.

IC: Lynn Smith was about 100 miles from where she needed to be when the rented mustang just started making horrible noises, she pulled over to the side of the road and the car just died. To make matters worse, her cell phone needed a charge so she could not call her client. Her quick temper took control as she kicked at the tire and looked around. Her blue talored suit clung suggestively to her well built toned body. She looked down the road wondering how far she would have to walk for help. She slipped off the jacket of her suit to reveal a short sleeved silk light blue blouse that clung to her breasts. She started to walk, her dark blue high heels digging into the soft earth at the side of the road.
