There was a thing about life, it was mysterious and no one knew what life had to offer. It's kind of hard to be able to know what lives on planet earth. Some believe in aliens and some believe in big foot. But what if there truly was something else living on earth with them, They were known as shifters and every last one was hunted because of what they did. They always killed people and took on there forms, which was a huge problem for a certain group a group that has hunted Shifters for hundreds of years, they call themselves the claws. They hate shifters and have been known to kill even children that were shifters, sadly because they had been hunted for hundreds of years, there was only one left, a man who has been hiding from them for a very long time. Sadly for him however he had befriended a very nice girl he celebrated her 20th birthday with her. Her name was Maggie Rose. Maggie had a huge heart and saw the beauty In everything, Maggie had known him for a couple years now and felt that they were pretty close. Though she knew that he hid things from her. But Maggie never pushed, she figured that he would tell her in his own time. She never pushed him and when ever he wasn't comfortable with a topic she dropped it, that was how she was. Her grey eyes got deep grey when upset or pissed, and went light when she was very happy.
She had known him for a while and was starting to have feelings for him, but she hid them since he was much older then she was. Maggie was afraid to bring it up because if she had, then she was afraid it would damage or destroy the relationship that she had, which meant everything to her. But on a particular day she didn't know things were about to change, she was the type of girl that took life day by day. Didn't worry about the past or future just the present, it was nice to not have to worry about anything. Which was true in her case. Her parents died when she was fifteen years old, she had to go to a judge to get emancipated since she was very mature for her age. She was granted that because her parents had a fund for her. Her parents were worth well over five hundred thousand, but she wasn't greedy with her money. She actually donated one hundred thousand to a homeless shelter and a animal shelter. She had more money then she would or could spend because she wasn't a materialistic girl, she wasn't into video games or expensive booze or food. She was Maggie, the girl with the grey eyes and pitch black hair that went to her hips. Always in a braid to keep her air neat, one day they were walking around the park.
The park was beautiful in the fall she loved how the leaves changed and the smell of fall was wonderful as well, everything was going beautifully. As they walked she remembered the first day they met. She had tripped and was on the ground, her knee was bleeding and everyone ignored her accept him. She had noticed a handsome looking guy grabbing something from his bag which was a handkerchief and wrapped it around her knee. He helped her up and helped her home, they seemed to connect instantly because when she got home and before he left she had given him her number. She had figured he wouldn't ever call her, but he did the next day, ever since then the were inseparable and grew close rather fast to. She smiled holding his hand as she snapped out of her memory and looked up at him, curious as to what he was thinking in that moment, he was easy to read most of the time, but something seemed to be on his mind. So to lighten the mood she decided to talk, she was the kind of girl that didn't like to talk to much to anyone but him. Maggie sighed softly and squeezed his hand.
"I've been thinking about the past a lot, the day we met. You ever think of it?
