The Lounge - Why is this here?

Answer this please if you will. Why should one become upset, annoyed or even angry over a situation that yourself nor anyone else has control over , due to the fact it is a internet social gathering.

Because there were too many OOC threads, story requests, and casting calls, this forum was made just for that.
I don't want to enter any fictitious club just to have an OOC discussion within an IC thread.

Please go here to talk:

I was kind of annoyed at first because I saw this area as more of a OOC situation, ad I was quickly tired of the 'vampires' and other magical creatures here-abouts.
Then, it became apparent that this was going to be a mix of IC (whether part of a thread in play or not), OOC/general discussion areas, and sort of free-form IC interactions.
Once I realized that this wasn't ONLY what I expected, but rather a mish-mash of whatever people felt like, I could just enjoy.
I think that there's a need, here at Lit, to realize that if you don't like an area or thread, you don't have to go there.
I got very tired of the GB and so I no longer go to the GB, which is the only reasonable response.
This is especially true when since we can make our own threads (just not our own 'areas').
Getting annoyed because a particular section isn't what you want it to be is only making yourself unhappy.
:)

Heaven forbid creative minds continue to be creative.

Dude, seriously; take a chill pill.
Some people here actually like to keep their imaginations flowing.

Yes, I have a thread called "After Hours Club". No where in there did I ever state people need to be in character to talk. As it's a subsidiary zone of the role playing forum, expecting people NOT to fall back into referencing actions and such is kind of impossible.

I'd have figured someone with the SN "Fantasies_Only" would be someone far more open to creative thought exchange.

Besides, the thread that pissed you off so much at not receiving replies seems to be one of the most "In Character" threads posted in this section. If you get mad over people swapping in and out of RP-style, why create that thread? It seems to me your simply mad over people not replying to you and are now trying to raise a stink about it; the kid in the corner of the playground screaming about how no one wants to play with him.

How well did that work for him?

Just my two cents.
And I'm fully aware I'm probably now on your "Bitch" list.
