As Valentine's Day approaches I thought we could do with a thread in which you can say something nice about another Lit member.
A place to leave Valentine's messages for those you care about, here at Lit.

The day is known as 'friendship' day over here and I'd like to think this thread could have a similar feel to it.
If you have nothing nice to say, then take it some place else please!

I'm not expecting outpourings of love everlasting but if we get any...great

But if there's a poster who's made you smile, or feel appreciated...a co-writer you want to give a special mention to...or whatever...why not give them a mention here...

I'm lucky to have so many people around here that I could say the above about.



I'm not around as much any more, it seems the same for many of the older faces.

But that doesn't mean I don't care for the people I've shared stories and surprises over the years, people who've made me cry with laughter and, in some cases, who I've loved very much.



Since this day last year much has happened, both good and bad, and when the days were darkest for me there were those that reached out in spite of their own struggles to make sure I was alright. That meant more than I can ever truly say.

Usually I make individual gifts for those I care about but given how busy my life seems to have gotten and how infrequently people seem to be around, I'm not this year.

Instead I'm wishing everyone I know, in any way at all, a very Happy Valentine's Day.


I take friendship very seriously and I hope you know how special you are, how much you mean to me and to a great many others too I'll bet.
That even if we don't speak to each other every day, even if it's been months or even years since we were last in touch, never doubt that I don't think of you. I still think of the happy times, the stories, the silliness we shared and I'd like to think I always will.
