As Valentine's Day approaches I thought we could do with a thread in which you can say something nice about another Lit member.
A place to leave Valentine's messages for those you care about, here at Lit.

The day is known as 'friendship' day over here and I'd like to think this thread could have a similar feel to it.
If you have nothing nice to say, then take it some place else please!

I'm not expecting outpourings of love everlasting but if we get any...great :D

But if there's a poster who's made you smile, or feel appreciated...a co-writer you want to give a special mention to...or whatever...why not give them a mention here...

Spread the love peoples! Spread the love!

Awwwwwww!!!!

I love this idea!!! Almost as much as I love you, beauty!!!

Seriously, I know we've only been friends for a short while, but to me it feels like ages. I am most definitely happy and thankful for the fact that I can call you my friend.

Thanks, lovely!

And likewise! Totally! :rose:
I love our silly conversations to bits!

I shall be making and leaving my Valentines in the coming days and weeks but rest assured, you're on my list! :D

Although it has been quite some time since I have written with this person, I would like to send some love in Ladythunder's direction. For it she who was the first writing partner I paired with here.

Do be gentle with any criticisms. I was new, and she was kind enough to give me a chance. I offer her gratitude for this, and equate everything I have learned thus far, to her.

I'm not very good at cute graphics, a la Brit, so I'm just going to lay these out here.

Brit: You're an awesome person, sweet, gorgeous, dirty, and a very, very good writer. I've enjoyed reading everything you've written. One of my very few regrets is that all of our threads seem to have crapped out right when it was our time to shine!

Tess: In addition to being a delightfully dirty young woman, you may be the best writer I've read, here. You have a genuine knack with the language - you can make it sit up, beg, and do tricks. I hope that you continue to hone it, and that you can eventually make a living from it. You deserve all the best.

Scuttle: Total bro-valentine, here. You're an amazing writer, you have a number of great writers eating from your hand. Carry on, sir. Carry on.

V: Not sure if you're still lurking around here or not, but I miss you. Hope things are well.

Cat: Yet another fantastic writer that I'd hoped to write with, and then life kicked me in the soft parts. You've been awesome every time I've spoke or written with you, and I very sincerely wish you nothing but the best.

For someone who is stupidly busy? Apparently I have too much time on my hands or I use what little time I have for things like this :D hence the graphics.

Anyway...thank you for the lovely words. You're another who I miss seeing around and I always feel sad that we haven't had our chance to write together properly yet. And I say yet. Because Etham isn't dead. Oh no. ;)
You're an awesome individual, Monsieur, incredibly talented and I consider myself lucky to know you!

 I'm bad at this, but I'm going to try.

This has been a bad year, for me.

There are people here that I'm closer with than others. I've made a lot of new friends this year, and rekindled some old acquaintances. I've had a lot of people reach out to me in different ways, and I've had a lot of people "listen" to me, at various times.

I just need to tell you how much it's meant to me. I don't know if I can put it into words that will mean enough.

You were more supportive when I needed it than most of my friends and family were able to be. You made me laugh, you let me rage and cry, and just kept me company when I didn't want to be alone.

I know that it's been a rough year for several people, yet people took the time. I honestly have never known a community like this. Whatever else we are, there's a lot of love here, between the lines...and the gifs...and the godawful puns!

I didn't join Lit looking for this. I thought I had enough friends, and I was just here for some sexytimes. The people I've met here constantly humble me with their kindness and caring. I know I'm a flighty little twat who doesn't take the time to express myself, to reciprocate - my gratitude and the love and fondness and affection I feel for the people in my life.

I just really wanted to take this opportunity to say, "thank you." I don't know how I would have managed, this year, if I hadn't had you - all of you, ya freaky-deeks! There are an especial few (heh - okay, it's probably more like a dozen, I think?), and two or three very dear friends who've somehow stuck with me through my most insane moments - but just being able to come here, just knowing there were people here who cared - it helped a lot. From the bottom of my heart: thank you.

So, please know you're loved, today - and every day. There are a lot of good people, here.

And Brit, you're the best of us. I love you, and I want to get into your underpants.

*Wanders through carrying a hammer, a nail and a small trinket. The nail serves as a hanger for the trinket, and the hammer serves as...well, as intended. An equally small note is tucked into one of the many cogs of the trinket*

It reads:

Roses are red but can also be gold
Hearts are like clocks, or so I've been told
Each piece has a job, a task bidden do
If my heart is a clock it ticks thanks to you

*The note has no "to" and no "from". The sentiment is left open to be claimed and given, though he smiles as the trinket reminds him of several people, both here and elsewhere, who would be worthy recipients. His steps carry him out quietly, flipping the hammer end over end*

I have made some nice friends here in the 13 1/2 years here. We've shared some laughs and had some fun...Enjoy your Valentine's day...All of you!!:rose::kiss:

To the person that reads this...

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You're fucking wonderful,
Believe it, it's true.
