OOC: To make up for my absence, I am going to try to start a new thread. We seem to have gathered quite a variety of people, so anyone who wants to participate, feel free. I only ask one thing, no gods please. Enjoy! Oh yeah, feel free to make up creatures no ones ever heard of. It makes the story fun.

Juliet:

"Sebastion! Where have you gone too?" the princess roamed around the garden looking for her friend. She didn't have many and Sebastion was very important to her.

Her parents, King Allias and his new queen, Andrea, seemed to think she should be restricted to the palace and the garden. Her step-mother seemed to think she couldn't handle being anywhere else. Her older sister had left the day after their father had remarried. She felt Andrea was after nothing less than the throne for herself. "Oh darling, why did you leave me?" Juliet hoped her sister could hear her. It had been over five years, and Juliet was on the verge of her 21st birthday. She wished her sister would be here for it. She wished her sister could see that the little tomboy Juliet had turned intot he beauty her sister had told her she would someday be.

"Ah-ha! There you are you little sneak." Juliet scooped up the little rabbit who was munching on some carrots. "I found you." Juliet walked deeper into the garden, heading into the maze. It was her favorite place to be. No one knew the way to get out, with the exception of herself and her sister, so no one ever came looking for her. She didn't notice the dark eyes peering at her from behind a shrub, so she continued deeper into the maze, wanting to lose herself in its beauty.

The Portal opened up, somewhere in an empty field. This time, to normal size humanoids and twe big bird stepped out. The portal closed and the coloring faded revieling Dimo, Cryo, a Woman, and a White chocobo. Dimo and the Woman were simmilarly armored. Dimo had his unicrowned helmet (a helmet with a unicorns horn and dragonwings tassled out the sides), she just the dragon tassles. His armor was a green crystal cuirass, hers a white diamond cuirass. He had green crystal plate boots, chainmail, armlets, and gauntlets, her's white crystal. THey both wore a red cloak with an odd symbol sewn into it, a symbol not recognised by anyone on this world. The chocobo's had on a simple saddle. They were quite a site to behold.

"So where are we now Dimo?"
"Have you ever heard of the lost city of atlantis?"
"Heard of it, I grew up with it. so did you!"
"It was lost to our world in such away that even I could not find it. But now it has manifested itself here."
"So were just going to find the city? no recruiting?"
"WHo sais we can't have an adventure now and then. it builds expirience. And who knows who we might run into while were here!"
"Ok, so where do we go first?"
"There's a castle over thatway somewhere. We'll find it and regroup from there."
The two set off, riding on their birds. Who knows what they'll run into?

The dark figure snuck into the village silently. It had crawled over the gate and slept into the village tavern outside the castle. It changed it's posture and walked up to the barkeeper."Where is Baggins", it hissed. It's master had been banished by the fool, but now they were back, the message had spread like wildfire across the land of Mordor, the nine were abroad! It's master had not yet returned, but they had. At least the message was restricted to Mordor, it thought. They were out for the hobbit simply for fun. When the ring had been destroyed, it's master was banished, not killed. They underestimated the precautions he put into the ring, though. He had cast an ancient spell that returned the power to him if his downfall was brought about.

Elizabeth

(a CHOCOBO?????? *laughs* that's funny...)

I stomped my front hoof and called out into the garden for Princess Juliet. The human portion of my centaur's body was tanned a deep brown from its time in the sun; my kind not having any taboos about nudity, there were no tan lines. At the behest of the palace I wore a short tunic made especially for me by the master tailor, which ended in my deep brown horse's coat. My hair and tail, the same shade of mahogany, looked shiny in the afternoon sunlight, as did my dark coat. I flicked my tail in annoyance and called out again. "Juliet! 'Tis time for supper!"

Juliet:

She ran back through the maze, giggling and clutching Sebastion to her chest. "I'm coming!" Elizabeth, her watcher for life, was on of the toughest creatures, and Juliet loved her dearly.

She stumbled out of the maze and fell at Elizabeth's hooves. She covered her stumble by falling into a flawless throne room bow.

"Nice try. I saw your clumsiness."

"Awwwww...Lizzy, you take all the fun out of it."

"I try, and don't call me Lizzy." She turned to leave, but hesitated. "Do you ever get the feeling you are being watched.

Juliet giggled. "All the time, but that's because Andrea had guards watching me all the time."

"Stop that. Go. Your father will have my head if you are late for dinner...again."

"I'm going, I'm going." Juliet's lips formed a pretty pout. "and Lizzy?"

"WHAT?!"

"I love you." Juliet ran into the palace before her friend could throw a rock at her head.

"Silly girl..." I say, exasperated, as she races into the palace. Curious, I walk into the maze, past the first few twists and turns I know. Then the feeling of being watched gets stronger...

"HOLD TIGHT MEN!!"
The storm had them now, he was hopeless. This was going to be the one to take down Queenie. Barney held onto the wheel tight, making sure they couldn't get too far off.
A boat, in any situation had to be at a 45 degree angle from the waves, any sailor worth a hill of beans knew this. To barney though, that was his only hope, he had to keep it at the angle, too far to the right and they would cap size, too far to the left and the ship would flip over, like a rag doll.
Barnye looked out onto the deck, the men were trying like hell to keep the cargo from going over. It was almost done, but a few boxes were still going around.
Fred came up to him, "So, are we going...
Barney looked up at Fred, they both knew, "If the waves don't get any bigger, and we kep this heading, I think so.
"Where are we?" Fred looked out the window, there were waves, fifty feet, the ship would rock dangerously up, then tetter, as if on top of the world, and plummet to the bottom of the wave, almost like on a sick roller coaster, Barney kept it at 45 degrees though, they would all be dead by now if he didn't.
"I don't know. All the sensors went crazy when we entered the triangle, you know that," Barney hated the bermuda, but for enough money he would sail anywhere, even to the lost city of atlantis.
"Is the storm, changing directions?" Fred was full of questions today wasn't he.
"Look, go help the men, we are going to be fine. I have been in worse." Fred looked at him, then left. Barney muttered under his breath, "I just can't think of it right now, is all."
Barney knew he hadn't been in worse. Fred was outside, yelling orders, so they could get out of this mess. Barney looked at the waves, the storm was changing, there were waves coming in from the side. Waves coming from two different directions, there was no possible way you could keep a forty five degree angle.
Barney looked in horror as a huge wave came from the side, swiping the whole ship.
"LOOK OUT..." but it was too late, themajority of the wave smacked against the side. Rocking the boat dangerously to the side, he watched as the wave went onto the deck. He couldn't do anything, but watch in horror as the carog and his men were swept over board.
"NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Barney turned hard to the left as he went back up another wave. He was taking it straight on, he had to turn.
It veered to the right hard, Barney watched as the ship actually was airborn for a few seconds before landing. and hurling itself to th ebottom again. Barney looked back, there wasn't a sign of anything, cargo or people.
Barney watched as the storm calmed. The waves got smaller and smaller, and then calmed. He looked at the sea as it calmed. Soon it was as clear as glass. Barney looked for some sort of sign of civilization.
It came out of the fog, a dock, one like he had never seen before. Barney drove up and landed the boat. He walked up the dock, where was this place? An island, Bermuda? Maybe even Puerto Rico, they had been off course for almost 5 hours, he guessed he could be anywhere. Barney looked back at his boat.
It was gone. The doack wasn't even there. Barney ran up to the shore, looking for some sign of what was there. It was nothing, it was just... just...
"Gone..." He said, laying down in the sand. Everything had happened too fast, he just couldn't handle it. Barney passed out.

Dimo and Carissa rode across the shoreline, making their way to the castle. In the distance, they saw a fog building up, then dissapeared without a trace, leaving a man unconcious on the sand. Trotting up to him, they wanted to see if they could help. What they saw startled them.
"It's a sailor from earth. Our earth Carissa."
"Earth? but Earth was obliviated a long time ago!"
"Whatever reason, he is definitely from our earth. and our time zone too. Check to see if he's still alive!"
Carissa moved the fisherman to his back and felt for a pulse. There was one, though weak. "He's alive, but he's been through a lot of stress."
"Can you help him?"
"Let me try." Carissa put her hands over the fisherman. Her hands began to glow a soft light, which spread over the fisherman like powder. The light quickly died away and his breathing became regular. "Oh, he's coming to!"
The man groaned and put a hand to his forhead. "Oh... what happened. My crew! my ship!" his eys flew open. "What did you do with my ship!"
"Relax, we found you lying on the soreline and helped you. Your from earth, right?"
"Wha? you must be joking! and why are you wearing midevil armor? Oh who cares, just take me to the Puertorican coast guard!"
"Uh.. your not on puerto rico."
"Cuba?"
"sorry to tell you this buddy, but your not on earth anymore. Tell me what happened? How did you end up on this shoreline?"
Barney but a hand to a groggy head. "Ug...We were shipping some cargo from Aferica to the america's. We took a shortcut through the bermuda triangle, hoping that the sun would keep us in the right direction. A big storm hit us, a big wave knocked my crew and cargo overboard, then I docked somewhere and when I got off to explore, my boat and the dock dissapeared!"
Dimo and carissa lookd at each other in understanding. "Well you should consider yourself lucky. Earth was obliverated a while ago, and your one of maby 6 survivors."
"What?"
"Uh... someone from another dimention pulled me and my friend here from earth to help save existance. That's how we survived. There is.. well, there was a natural portal in the bermuta triangel, which you must have come through."

In a (not to) far future:

Sith stood in his shadow realm researching a spell. Somehow his mind wandered into the past, a time when he was young, a time when he hadn't developed shadow magic yet, when he was nothing but a simple necromancer with a bit of charm magic, a time when Atlantis still was...

Atlantis was the home to the race known as snakemen. They lived in a remote part of the island, and they sometimes traveled to Atlantis, the city. Even in an advanced culture like the Atlantean, not everyone accepted them too well in the city. Humans had some genetic quirk that made them afraid of snakes, and snakemen reminded them too much of snakes.

A young snakeman necromancer known as Sith had gone to the city to get some ingredients for his mentor. On the way he had discovered a very beautiful maze, and he hadn't resisted the temptation. He went in. He had been there for some time now, absorted in contemplating the flowers and how they grew differently in the different parts of the maze. He had heard someone approaching too late. It was a human, female, and very well dressed. Probably nobility. Probably trouble. He stood there in the middle of the way without reacting.

OOC; isn't this thread the hunt for atlantis?
if it is accesible to everyone, what is the whole point of the thread?

OOC: I thought it was the last days of Atlantis. The lost city of Atlantis could be both what you say, or Atlantis' fall. And Sith is remembering the old times, he is remembering a maze, it may not be the same maze from the first post. If it is the hunt for the lost city of atlantis, then Sith's rememberance will make him want to find it. If it is the last days, then everything keeps flowing from where it is at now.

Another possibility is to have some people living in Atlantis, the Lost city, and the rest looking for it...

OOC: When I started this post, my character is living in Atlantis. Her father is the king and I enjoy how it has gone on so far. It could be the last days or Atlantis just appears every so often to people of different places, but has never really been "lost" at least not to the people who live there. I hoped that helps a little. Oh yeah, the people who live in the city of Atlantis dress in the style of Ancient Greece and Rome.

IC:

She ate dinner with great care, always the perfect princess. Elizabeth was across from her, her father at the head and of course Andrea at his side.

"Elizabeth. It has occured to me that Juliet is in titled to one wish for her 21st birthday. Whatever it is see that she gets it."

"Yes sire."

Juliet was in wonder at hearing this. She truely only had one wish. To leave the castle walls. After dinner, she and Elizabeth would take a walk on the beach and she would dance and swim and be happy. Oh what a wonderous thing. "Thank you father." she smiled not telling what she wanted. She knew Andrea would object.

Dinner ended not long after her father's annoucement. Juliet waited until her father and Andrea had left. "Elizabeth, you and I are taking a walk on the beach."

"No."

"That is my wish for my birthday. You have to give it to me."

Elizabeth knew she was trapped. Juliet knew it too. She twirled around and around at the thought of leaving the castle. She ran to get Sebastion and some other things she might need. She could have sworn she heard a mumbled "Spoiled child." but she ignored it.

She was to leave the castle.

The figure walked to the other nine. "Murazor, did you find him, master?" asked one. "Yes, Hoarmurath", came the answer. "He is still in Bag End, the fool". They got onto their horses and rode to a little village. When they got there, a few gaurds were standing in the way. "Go get Mr. Frodo Baggins. Tell him we are old friends", said Murazor, changing his voice into Gandalf's. A minute later, the gaurd walked up,"He will see you", he said. They rode up to his house and dismounted. They opened the door and walked inside. As soon as Frodo saw them, he let out a yelp and pulled out sting. "Do you think you can hurt me? Do you not know the prophecy? No living man or woman can hinder me!" he boomed in a strange voice. "Take the rodent", he said to one of the others."Tell the land that the witch king has returned", he laughed. They took Frodo and rode away. They arrived in the rebuilt Bar-a-Dur. "Gaurd him and feed him, but do not let him escape", he said to his highest lieutenant. They got on their pegasus and flew into the air. A green cloud suddenly appeared in front of them. Murazor flew into it, his horse going wild. A portal loomed in front of him and the steed flew into it. He landed on some type of strange isle. A few miles away was an enormous city. He made for it.

The young girl also stopped when she saw Sith. Both of them where frozen. Then she started screaming, and Sith darted out of the maze. Somehow he managed to get out very fast. But now, going out of the maze when someone was shouting wasn't the more discrete thing to do.

Dimo looked up and into the distance. "What is it?"? asked Carissa.
"I thought I heard a woman scream. Somewhere in the distance"
"I didn't hear anything!" said barney.
"Your ears are full of water. You wouldn't hear it if it was a Dragon screaming in your ear" Carissa was just being playfull. Cryo and Erathia (Carissa's chocobo) chucked to themselves.
"Maby it was just my imagination. Still though, I think we should head out in that direction!" Dimo pointed East. Obediently, the mounts turned and started trotting in that direction.

The witch king headed toward the city. When the gaurds asked him who he was, he said he was a visitor. They let him in quickly. he rode through the bustling streets when he saw a snakeman running towards him. He grabbed the snakeman by the arm. "Where am I", he asked.

Dimo, Carissa and Barnet pulled up to the gate of the city. Guards imedietly asked who they were and their business in the city. "We are indiginous to the king! Please let us in!" The guard assumed that they were indeed friends of the king, because of their extravigant looking armor. So they let them in. Typical guard, thought Dimo. He could probably say they were here to assasinate every noble in the city and the guard would still let them pass.
They stopped at a small Inn near the edge of town. CHecking a room they left Barney to rest and recover. Cryo and Erathia flew to the roof to rest, while Dimo and his companion walked to the castle ahead. Infront of them a few blocks were a lizardman in some kind of rush talking to some kind of witch. THe lizardman suprised the two because in all their travels they have never seen an intelligant Lizard man, let alone one with as much apparent stature and power.

Barney woke up, in his nice warm bed. He could smell breakfast being made in the mess hall. His good ship the Queenie bobbed up and down, slowly making it's way to Europe. Barney rubbed his eyes, looking up to see...
Barney got up with a start, he looked aroudn the room, this wasn't familiar at all. He didn't know where he was.
Barney remembered, Dima and Carissa had given him a room. Barney looked at himself, he was naked, his clothes, neatly dry ad pressed were on the foot of the bed. He quickly got into them. A knock came from the door.
"Are you awake?"
Barney looked at the door, "Yes, come in please."
A plump elderly lady with what looked like a hook coming from her head came in with a tray of food. She set it down, looking at him, "I thought we were rid of you earthlings a long time ago. I guess I was wrong."
She gave him a stern look, then was gone. Barney was astonished, was his kind hated here? Where was here anyway? It wasn't earth, but where, or maybe when? He might be on earht before it was earth.
Barney left this thoughts to ponder themselves as he ate a hearty breakfast. It looked like breakfast anyway, he couldn't recognize any of the food, but it was all delicious.
When Barney was finished he went downstairs. There was a sort of tavern there, it was empty except for a few things that looked like pig people, and a bartender who was blue.
"Might I have a drink, I think i need one."
The blue man gave him a hateful look, then ignore him. Barney didn't understand, what had he done to them?
"Get out of here," said one of the pigmen, snorting at him. Barney took a few steps back, the sword on his belt looked more than just lethal.
"Go back to where you came from freak," chimed in the other porker. Barney looked at him, raised and eyebrow, then got the hint. He left the tavern, walking outside.
It was a bright and beautiful day, sort of. Barney didn't exactly know what a bright and beautiful day looked like here, but this did seem nice at least.
The tavern door opened, and one of the pig men holding a huge sword in his hand came up to Barney.
"We don't take kindly to earthlings..." he licked his lips, "Look's like we are gonna have ourselves a barbecue."
Barney took the hint, he ran. The pig man followed him, but soon gave up. Barney ran as fast as he could, stopping only to catch his breath, then ran again. Soon, he reached the shore, he ran on the shoreline till he saw a small path leading back into land again. Barney took the path, hoping his trail was gone. Up ahead he saw a building, Barney stopped, looking at the sing.
Local Tavern.
It was the same one, he couldn't mistake it, how did that happen? He went straight, didn't he? Barney followed his route inside his head, he ran till he met the ocean, then ran on the oean side. He wondered if he was on an island of some sort. Hadn't Dima said something? Nope, he just said this wasn't his planet, Barney could have guessed that. But still, where was he?
Barney sat far enough away from the tavern, giving himself enough room to run if a pig man or any other human hating thing came by.
Barney had a lot of questions, but not one single answer.

OOC; you really havn't been reading into our other posts, have you. We recognized you as a human from earth. Not as a human in general. Humans arn't an etinkt species, there are just many other species sharing the town. I sugjest you edit your post, of anything because it makes absolutely no sence from what I can deduce

OOC:I was saying human from earth, I put down earthling several times. I know that humans are on atlantis, but earthlings, who had come here probably aren't welcome. I have read stories where this had been stated, books, I am not making this up. You have had a few books which you took things from Cryo, and you didn't make them up, I am doing the same.
And what was that you told me a while ago? Quit wining, Shut up! I remember that one, well being a bit of a hipocrit aren't we?

OOC: My character is no Witch! My character is Murazor, the witch king, the captain of the nazgul, darkest of the nine, the black prince, strongest of Westernesse, not a pimping witch!

IC: From the snakeman he learned he was in some place named Earth and that this was the city of Atlantis. He walked into the local Tavern looking for answers. An idiot pigman walked up to him."Hey, human, we thought we told you we didn't like your kind around here", it said. "And I'll say this, I eat ogres for breakfast, a pig isn't much of a challenge, now is it?" asked Murazor. The pig grew enraged and pulled out it's scimitar. A cold, cruel laugh escaped Murazor's lips and he threw off his hood. Instead of a head, gleamed a black fireball with a crown where the forehead would be and two red eyes. There was no visible nose or mouth. "Do you not know the prophecy? No living being may hinder me!" it chortled. The pigman advanced carefully. Murazor pulled out his sword and a dark flame spread up it. "Young fool, do you not know death when you see it? This is my hour! Die now and curse in vain!" he screamed. The pig charged. The witch king cut a whole directly through the pig's stomach and then sliced one way and then the other, cutting the pig in half.

Oh. Well, the point is, earthinlings are still humans. No difference in smell, look, or personality

Aw who cares. as long as poolive doesn't kill himself, It's all good

OOC: Well, the witch king is no human. He used to be, but then Sauron, his master, offered him a ring of power. He accepted and upon putting it on became immortal. He also became strongest of the nine nazgul(Those who possesed the rings). Then, slowly over time, his body withered away and left him something as a wraith. Being the strongest however, he can not be harmed by any living being.
