OOC: I need about four people for this thread its a new role, so I am not sure how its going to come out... I will list the characters and there parts.. and you can decide there backrounds ages and names. I will play Tessa, sweet young and innocent pure at heart, about 18 knowing nothing of life love nor marriage and she is to marry the most powerful man.. here is the role I need a husband to play the part of the king, his maid who will be Tessas caregiver and ultimently her best friend as well as she is the kings advisor and best friend... I will as well need the kidnapper who will kidnap Tessa in order to gain the kings money as well... thats the bases of the role here is the rest...

Tessa waits alone with tears in her eyes in the room her new husband the room her husband has asked her to await his arrival. Tessa was forced into this marriage by her own father in order to pay his gambling debts. She was not ready for this marriage at all. Tessa feared her new husband, so did the people of his land, he was fierce and coldhearted most had said, although very handsome and strong. But what Tessa didn't know is what this life was going to bring her.... please join and we can start... as I said not sure how good the role is so my apologies.

Randal had only been king for a couple of years, since his father had been killed in battle. He had been trying to avoid the Kingly duty of fiinding a wife, and getting an heir. He had met Tessa, and she was a beautiful woman only a couple years younger than him. He knew what the people would say about him, but that stuff wasn't true. He was a good king, and kind. He had given Tessa the best room in the castle that was used usually for special guests. He had been told that she had been crying in her room, and was going to go see her to see if he can do anything to assuade her fears. He knocked on the door, and then walked in. "Sorry to bother you Ms. Tessa, but can we talk please?"

Tessa jumped as she heard the voice of her new husband her hands were shaking as he walked in and she wasn't sure what to do... she turned to look at him... she quickly tried to wipe the tears away

Randall looked at her and shook his head. "What's wrong Tessa? Listen, I'm not the like my father was, and that's what the people think that I'm going to be like. May I sit?" He smiled at her trying to calm her fears.

She shook her head allowing him to sit, although she wasn't sure of him.. it wasn't just the fact that she feared him she feared the concept of marriage as well

"So what do you like to do for fun Tessa? Do you like horses? Swimming?" He tried to make small talk.

She smiled a little and looked at him... ''I um.. I like to ride'' She said gently her heart pounding

He smiled. "So do I, we have some beautiful horses in the stables that you can have your choice of for riding. I think there is a beautiful Arabian Mare in there if you like to ride. She is as gentle as a lamb, and great to ride."

She was surprised to find he was nothing like what everyone had said he was.. he was really kind, maybe in public he just had facade

"It's getting late tonight, but would you like to go riding tomorrow after breakfast? We can make a day of it, and get to know each other better also. I know that you were forced to marry me, but it wasn't a debt that your father had with me, it was one he had with my father. I'm sorry if I'm not the ideal husband for you, but you will live the life of a Queen." He smiled and looked at her with a nod.

She smiled sweetly at him for the first time she didn't look as if she was about to cry, but she still didn't trust him... ''I would like that'' she said softly and gently as she looked at him

Randall

"I know that the proper thing would be for us to stay together tonight, but I don't want to force you to do anything that you don't want to do right away. So get a good nights sleep, and I will see you in the morning at breakfast." He gave her a kiss on the cheek and then made his way for the door.

She looked at him... ''Wait'' She said softly and smiled at him... ''I mean.. I am not sure what to say... thank-you for being so kind to me''

Randall smiled. "No problem Tessa, I'm glad that I can help. We might have started this out the wrong way, but I feel that things will work out for the best."

She smiled as she sat on the bed... maybe this could work she told herself and looked at him kindly.

Randall smiled. "So what do you want to do tonight? Anything?"

Randall looked at her chuckling. "Well that depends on whether or not your up to it. It is our wedding night, and you don't have to call me M'lord, call me Randy, except with the other dignitaries then it's Randall." He smiled at her with a wink,

She wasn't sure what she was up to she was his wife after all, and that made it for him to take her tonight but was she ready for that? Her hands started to shake thinkin about it.

He could tell that she was nervous, hell so was he. He also could tell that she wasn't ready. "We don't have to tonight, it was just what would happen if we had known each other better, and not been forced into the marriage. If you like, and don't mind, we can just lay here in each others arms while we sleep."

She sighed and looked at him, she wasn't in love with, nor did she know anything about him... bit she was starting to like him, she smiled shyly and nodded her head

Randall smiled and hugged her. He then took and changed into his night clothes, behind the changing screen. He turned his back so that she could get ready for bed also. He layed down on the bed, and patted the side of it for her. "At least it's a huge bed, so we don't have to be right next to each other."

She changed into the beautiful white wedding night gown he had bought for her her long hair flowed over it and the candel light hit her just right

Randall let out a long impressed whistle. "You are absolutely beautiful." He was dressed in a pair of silk pajamas bottoms, but no top, he was a bit warm.
