I did 3 1/2 days and almost blacked out.

What's the longest you've ever gone without ANY sleep?

Did my first Iron Butt ride 5 years ago and we decided to make it 1500. Wound up going sleepless for 38 hours but most of them were while riding. Too dangerous. By the end I was literally seeing bright spots and halucinating.

70 hours straight in college...I then slept for nearly 48 straight...except once to get up and pee. My room mates were going to call an ambulance. ;)

4 days, in the mid-80's, on a yacht in the far southern Indian ocean, battling a heck of a storm front.
We shipped 8 tons of water, pitch-poled twice, rolled 3 times, and yet somehow survived and made it to a tiny little island called Isle St Paul.
After making several repairs, I got to sleep for the next 2 days.

I took a little blue pill and the package said to call a Dr if you have been "UP" for more than 4 hours...whats your point

Right at 4 "daze". I was a cherry FNG in '69 and we were attacked, rocketed, mortared daily and probed every night.
My cig butts matched the number of my empty casings around me! :D
I later learned to cat nap some shuteye time but with my ears still alert.......still do.

36 hrs also, and yep hallucinating at the end too. Not fun.

A buddy of mine talked me into doing some chrystal meth once, and I was up for three days (72 hours) I had no idea it was gonna keep me up that long, otherwise I would of never done it because i still had to go to work even though I wasnt able to sleep. I dont know how in hell I survived those three days, but I do know one thing, ive never touched meth again.

I was in my teens when I was up for 3 1/2 days. Now I am starting to break down physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I don't think I'd be able to do that again.

I was in my teens when I stayed up for three days in a row.

But now, all of the adversity and hardship I've experienced throughout the years is finally taking it's toll, I feel myself breaking down physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I doubt I'd be able to do that again in my current physiological/psychological condition.

If I tried that again I would probably die.

As a former military guy (Marine), thanks for your service

I suck at staying awake. I've done 36 hours and I was a babbling idiot by the end.

5 days, no idea why, just couldn't sleep. By the 3rd day its easier.

I was really expecting this to be about an entirely different form of longevity.

Around 30 hours when I worked with a garments factory.

I can't imagine you guys can go more than that.
