*It had been a long night. Every cliant Sabrina Dobs delt with today had been upset over one thing or another. When nine o'clock rolled around, she was happy the day was over. The afternoon had been absoutly beautiful, so she had walked in to work. Now, walking out of the office building, she wished she had brought a pair of shoes for her walk home. Her feet where absoutly killing her, but she would not trust walking barefoot on the streets if her life depended on it.
As she walked along the poorly lit streets, her heels clicking with every step she took, she fiddled with those long chestnut locks of hers, eventually settle on a lose bun at the nape of her neck. She had been walking about fifteen minutes when she stripped the blue single breasted suit jacket she had been wearing and tucked it in the crook of her elbow, leaving her dressed in a white silk blouse, and a knee length pencle cut skirt; and of course those, by now pinching, shoes.
She had gotten herself lost in thought, about the meetings she had for the afternoon, her nephew's school play, the rent and electric bills, when that dented grey van started down the street*
