Just off the Auto Trail 55 (1925)
Tony 'the turtle' Tortelli was a boxer. Tony is on the short side standing only 5'5". In his hey day he had a powerful hook and a torturous jab. He has no neck to speak of his head looks like it grows out of his chest. When he fought most of the time his chin was on his chest. Hence the nickname 'the turtle'.
The sign behind the counter says :no shoes, no shirt, no service. A cardboard sign under it. NO MONEY, get out of here!
Every one is welcome or as Tony likes to say "I'll drop your hash if you got the cash!"
Donny "the duck" Dumas comes out of the kitchen. He looks at Tony' "What's going on, you kill some one? I mean lately?" Tony looks at him. "With your face, you should talk, you could scare a funeral away!"
Tony shakes his head and call over his shoulder. "I've seen crows look at you and fly the other way!"
" AH, the only bird you ever saw. Was the one your ex-wife waved in that court room!" Donny calls back as he flips the sign on the front door. OPEN
