Ok, now that we've established that.

I am in the process of doing some Spring Cleaning and I have a couple of items that I just can't see throwing out. I want to give them away to someone, but I don't know anyone around here who would want them. So, I thought I'd post about them here on the board and if you're interested you can email me and let me know. I am giving them away FREE! I'll send the items to you at my expense, just to know that someone got some use out of them. Please do not ask for these so that you can sell them on eBay or something lame like that, I can do that myself. I thought it would be fun if someone actually had a use for them. One item per person, max! Email me if you want anything and I'll post here as each item goes. Here's what I've got:

1. Playstation One with 2 Dual Shock controllers (it only came with one, I bought the other!) These are the controllers that shake when you play certain games. Manu and I used this machine about twice playing a boxing game. I wasn't too impressed, as you see. It's still in the box with manuals, cables, and everything. Like new! I don't know where the game is or I would give you that too. As it stands, there are no games with it.

2. Alesis MMT-8 Multi Track Midi Sequencer. I don't have the manuals for this, but last time I tried it (many years ago) it worked perfectly. No guarantees, but the price is right! You can see the same unit right here:

Did anyone go for the Alesis yet?

Just got a Roland Jam Station this weekend and could work a sequencer into the home studio. Would even consider paying you for it. You had to buy it right - why are you simply giving this stuff away?

I won't e-mail you directly yet - figuring I'm way late on this deal.

Needless to say - don't bother with a reply if it's gone.

Besides - I'm more interested in the stuff in your nightstand drawer than any of your other stuff.

Oh, crap. You early worms are always catching the bird. I could've put a claim in for either of those. I've got Spyro II, 2 Tomb Raiders and an Alien Trilogy gathering dust particles up there on the shelf waiting for a console to play them on (sold my PlayStation a couple of months after I bought it in times of trouble for a quarter the original price). A midi sequencer sounds just the ticket for all those cold snowy nights in a small Scottish town. (I'm putting on quite convincing puppydog eyes as I type these words.)

Mindyou, I don't think Trans-Atlantic Airmail prices were quite the shipping costs our Madam had in mind.

(BTW, Laurel - I've been trying to send you that email plus attachments I promised but there's something up with Virgin. I'll keep trying over the next day or two. Or, if you have Quicktime Pro, you can save a copy of the version on my site using that.)
