These 5 categories are the only ones in which you directly nominate the choices. Once these are decided, we will go into the final voting, in which the 4 story nominations in each story AND POEM category have been chosen thusly: we took the top voted story in each category from each month, for a total of 12 possibles. From those, we whittled it down to the top four stories with the highest votes. After the top nominations in the 5 categories have been decided, you will be allowed to vote on the best story/ best poem in each category as well as the nominations you make now.

One must go back and looka t the submission dates of the stories s/he has read? Many of them will, of course, be in 2002 or before 2001 so remembering what stories struck me will prove difficuilt within the parameters.
