Sorry to bother everyone! :)

I was wondering if some of you could spare a few moments to take a quick look at the front page of the site and let me know what you see:

http://www.literotica.com/

We are testing out some new code for the page and I want to make sure that it's not causing anyone any problems.

If you do see anything strange, please let me know what went wrong and what browser and version you are using. If you prefer, you can send any of the info in PM.

Thanks, and again, sorry for barging in. :)

At this moment, using IE ver 6.0, front page looks same as always.

I see pretty much the same page, with the exception of the box that links to the Contest info...and no errors...

MS IE 6.0

On a Macintosh using Mac OS version 10.3.9, the front page looks normal.

MS IE 6.0

Same thing for me except MS IE 5.50

Thanks for the comments, everyone - keep them coming.

One person PMed me to say that the fonts on the new page are so small they can't read them. Other than that one issue, all seems fine so far. :)

On Avant Browser the page looks the same but the typeface was MASSIVE, but I did have my setting set for "larger." At Medium setting it's fine.

Don't see any noticeable change. Mozilla Firefox 1.5, windows XP Pro. I'll try it later under Linux (needs a reboot).

Looks common or garden on Firefox 1.5.0.6 and Windows XP.

hey Manu~
maybe im the only one to see this?
on Mozilla 1.5.0.6, I have several tabs open ...
if you are concerned about alignment...
the picture ad for Zuma is off to the left by about two tabs. everything else looks fine
I also tried on a window alone and still had that same results.
Tried the site with IE 7 and still the same thing

I don't remember the footer ad being off alignment but maybe it has been all along and im being a total blonde.

It all looks normal to me

The Zuma ad is centered beneath the title, so is skewed a bit right of the left justified text, but it appears like it had earlier in the week. Perhaps you already adjusted everything before now.

probably.
Its rare when i go to the front page any more.

Same as usual. However, when the page started, the text wasn't aligned tall and narrow, but ran right across the page.

That description is probably confusing :D Will try ESP next time ;)

I'm using IE 6, and the font was larger than before, but I have my text size set at larger.

IE 6.0... and the font is frigging HUGE, Manu... I had to do a full scroll on my mouse wheel 7 times (and a little extra) to get to the bottom of the page. To give you an idea- my mouse wheel will take a little over than three-quarters of a MS Word page in a full stroke.

Also, the graphics are missing (Our lovely lady of sin, and the manchild calls it) And the banners that are normally visible are not.

ETA: Graphics finally popped up, BUT

The entire page is center between... hold on...

If this is
the page
Then all the
text is doing
something
like this

Sorry about that - I would like to figure out what's causing it. :)

Can you check this and tell me what it says:

View (on the top menu of IE6) > Text Size

I'm just wondering what text size you are set to? I think that we have allowed the text on the pages to be easily resized by browsers so that people who want to read bigger fonts can do so. Maybe that's the issue, but maybe not?

Let me know and I'll work on it! :)

Maybe we do have an ESP connection, because I think I know exactly what you meant. :)

I believe this issue has been resolved now with a few small changes to the code.

Thanks to you and the other users who reported the issue. :)
