The Lit AnySoldier Letter Project

Hello, Playgrounders!

I'm a General Board dweller, so please pardon me for invading your board with this thread. (I'm a nice GB'er!)

Over on the GB, several of the posters started a campaign to send a letter, on behalf of as many Lit posters who cared to sign it, to soldiers in the Middle East, and do it via a website that specializes in getting letters and packages to soldiers who don't get much mail, if any at all. It's been going fairly well.

We're in the final push for signatures this evening. And although it's GB posters who are coordinating this, it certainly isn't limited to the GB when it comes to those who are invited to participate.

Ellie is a good person and wouldn't steer you wrong on this one. Please do sign up and help our troops out. This is not in support of the war, but in support of the troops.

Thank you for the vote of confidence, missingmeds.

It's true, though- it really is a good project. The letter is non-political and is an opportunity for all of us, no matter how we disagree about the war, to show the soldiers we support them.
