How do I typo let me count the ways.

I get rejected for leaving out a couple of commas and periods but others misspell a word or quite a few and get their stories published.

Can you say biased?

If they rejected you solely on punctuation, it wasn't just a few commas. I have seen a lot of things get past the submission process, and something as trivial as a few commas is not going to deny you. I'm willing to bet the stories had more serious issues than you're admitting to.

Again, my advice is free- get a good volunteer editor to look at your stuff and be open to their advice- they know what they're doing, that's why they're still editing around here.

And on another note- if you don't care about the quality of what you put your name on and just want it up- there are a lot of sites to post to. You don't have to be here, as you so obviously don't want to be.

Assertions like that make me want to ask what makes them think they're so special that Laurel/Manu would take the time to actually be biased against them, and no one else.

Um. I don't. (anymore, at least) Got nothing to with being a pay-worthy writer or not, just with double & triple checking for typos, formatting and punctu.

But yeah, yer right. To think that there's an L and M conspiracy against you, is pretty tin fiol hat style silly. (If that's what he thought, i haven't paid attention)

I'm glad he chose to seek an editor. I know my response in the EF was very sharp- I feel very protective of some of the editors over there and tend to get a bit froggy in their defense.
