OC:
Plot Description: Though I'm not quite the writer who sticks to plots, I agree that it would be nice to let you know what you're getting into. The Lion and the Lamb is basically a twist on the Edward and Bella story. Only this time the drama, life-threatening, and how they fall in love becomes a lengthy and even moreso complicated story. It begins with Gloria Carpathia, a vampire who is ever so bitter. Her life has been agonizing ever since the day she was forced to become what she thought was a monster. Though she would never realize that she was always a beautiful goddess in the eyes of her secret admirer. It takes a while before Gloria actually gives in to the human, but falls in love with him. Though after they agree to engage in a relationship tough times begins to hammer at their hard core. Vampires who disapprove of such unnatural behavior decide it's time to extirminate the vermin...

Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick. The clock was still going and there was still a few minutes before the bell. I watched the professor pace across the room as the students listened boredly to his lecture.

"Ms. Carpathia what is the difference between a biopsy and an Autopsy." He stared me down as if to try and intimidate me.

I nearly scoffed at him, but I acted innocently as if he caught me off guard. "Oh. A biopsy is the removal of a sample of tissue from a living person for laboratory examination whereas an autopsy is the examination of a body for the cause of death."

The professor smiled and continued on. I wanted to slam my head into the desk, but I knew what that would lead to. How sickening it was how some of these children didn't even listen to him. They had only one life to live assuming they wouldn't meet the fate I did. They were lucky. They were mortal. I on the other hand had to suffer the eternity with this curse. I had to suffer with being a monster who needed blood for a living.

My ears picked up the small spark of the bell and as I predicted it rang. I gathered my things and walked off careful not to speed my pace. A man was walking beside me now examining my figure, it was matthew a boy I had met during a biology class.

"Hey Gloria, I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime." He said with a smile.

OOC: Matthew isn't Gloria's lover

"Sorry Matthew maybe some other time." She walked passed him hearing the curses he spoke under his breath. He would be smart to stay away from her, she'd be the next thing to star in his nightmares. It took her about ten minutes to get back to her home. It was a decent old mansion, an old plantation that was far from the city. Louisianna had been her home for nearly three hundred or four hundred years. She had seen so many tragedies thus far.

It was nice to be home. To be in peace without the constant beating of human hearts to remind her that she was damned. It was only a matter of time before the peace was disrupted. Her cellphone let out it's charming tune, a song written by beethoven. She checked to see it was a text message.

"Gloria it's Kathy. Can you go clubbing today?" I stared at the message thoughtfully and debated on whether or not I wanted to.

My fingers moved swiftly on the tiny little numbers. "I'll go. Who's driving?"

Though I already knew I was going to be the one to drive. I was the only one who could keep sober, only because I never drank. Though I did just to display to her I was human.

It took her a minute or two before replying back. "Can you?"

I typed in the last three letter word. "Yes"

Gloria looked around her closet debating on what she should wear. She had recently bought a pair of heels that she liked. They were mocha colored with a type of brown design. It was peep toe and had a little bow at the end. She paired that with a pair of black skinny jeans and a black corset top. She put on a pair of white suspenders with little black skull designs on it. Lastly she put on a white fedora with black lining. She had been fond of the 1920's so now she would show her appreciation.

She picked up Kathy and drove at a normal speed to the club.

"Someone's looking hot tonight." She said in a quirky voice. I laughed and started the small talk with her. These few times with kathy I could enjoy. She lived her life to the fullest and appreciated it the most. Sadly she was the only human who seemed to be that way. We got to the club in about two times the amount of time it would have usually taken me. As soon as we got out she rushed ahead of me. The bouncer let us in immediately. He eyed me with a smile. It was bryant the big bear of a man.

"Hello Bryant.." She said warmly.

"My Lady." He grinned.

"Well have fun at your post..." She teased before passing him.

"Yeah Yeah..." He groaned as I walked inside.

It was same old same old in here. Men trying to hook up with women, women looking for a prospect and of course drunks everywhere."

She walked around trying to find Kathy and in an instance she bumped into someone. It caught her off guard and knocked her over, but she caught herself. Though in case of prying eyes she allowed herself to hit the floor. There was a solid thud, but it was masked by the music.
