With the help of interstellar races, the Earth entered a millennium of Utopian peace. Humanity was free to explore the universe, to explore the arts, and to explore themselves. Multiple peaceful transhumanist raptures, called Singularities occurred, ascending people to higher, better, and more exotic realms of consciousness. The galaxy was our playground, and The United Planets were born. Now, at the dawn of the 31st century, all our parents and their parents have ever known is stability, security, and order.

When: This RP's IC will start in a couple weeks. You have till then to submit characters. After that we will probably be closed unless you can come up with a way to fit your character organically into the ongoing RP or unless we re-open his for Legion Try-Out Day or something.
Join: You must submit a character to this thread with the following:
name + super-hero name (remember, adjective + /boy/lad/kid or girl/royal title/lass),
power + any caveats (i.e. caveats = "my powers are pretty awesome but they only work when it is really dark")
age,
gender (if applicable) + sexual orientation (SGLC) + any caveats (i.e. caveats = "I'm a girl pretending to be a boy pretending to be a girl who is a transexual so can I be your friend?"),
appearance (with a picture if possible, if you can't post a picture then link to one or get really, really specific because we will be dealing with alien races),
personality,
biography (a couple of paragraphs at least),
You need to be approved, before you post. Approval comes from me or from someone I pick to approve instead of me.
Post: Spell check your posts before posting, people. Or at least read over your post for bad mistakes. And post a least a paragraph or two. Give the other Rpers something to work with. Also place the beginning and ending location of your post, in your subject line (i.e. subject = the Legion Hall/Deep Space) and tag (i.e. a tag = Tag>_insert character name_) anyone who is in the scene with you, at the end of your post.
People: Anything DC other than antimatter races, Green Lanterns, and Kryptionians are allowed. Humans have no natural abilities, but have fun with the other races natural strengths and weaknesses.
Moderate: This thread is free form. Or as free as any form can be. That said, Respect the rights of others or I will disrespect yours. Oh, and use the OCC for OCC and the IC for IC and if you are about to do something like blow up the Earth or kill off characters by picking their names out of a hat (I'm looking at you Keith Giffen) then post it on the OCC first for approval.
