SB Fun Fact: I was watching the original Transformers cartoon when I experienced my first earthquake. TV went out suddenly, and then the entire earth started shaking. That's some terrifying shit when you're young.
But it was cool running to the back and seeing the water sloshing around in my grandma's pool after it ended.

It's been a long time since I've lived where they were regularly, but they used to scare the hell out of me as a kid.
I can still distinctly remember the time we had two in one day. I spent that whole day within leaping distance of our dining room table.
