I've honestly never seen this movie. As i've just come to understand, most of the states in this area actually banned it from being shown or distributed whenever it was made. Something about sacrilege or something...but that's besides the point...is this movie even worth the effort i'm using to at least see it? or should i still with "the lost boys"? *my personal favorite vamp movie :)

Heh.. yeah... A lot of southern states don't dig it.

I actually went to a fairly open-minded Methodist church as a kid, and we watched it in my youth group.

It's an interesting view.

But if you're wanting vampires, The Last Temptation is not going to cut it for you...

:p

No! Don't waste your money. Bad films like this only get distributed if they persuade some idiot priest to mouth off in a sermon - the trouble is there are too many idiot priests in the southern states: usually non conformist: usually fascinated by sin!

Remember, for most of their congregation, their only access to pornography is the Sunday Sermon. Ironic isn't it!

A

PS. For fascinated read obsessed.

It's a great film by a great director with a great cast of great actors and a great soundtrack by a great composer and is based on a great book by a great writer.

See it.
