OOC: Ok Here I Go Trying To Recreate Some thing Great Well This Take Place Two Years After the First One And I hope I Make Dark Lord Proud Now On To the story. I would like all that are form The first Last Kingdom thread to Chip in to the history The Charactar from it And Have fun

IC: Two Years Ago Heros Set forth on A Dangerous Jurny They were Karrack, Avallyn, Vixen, Garret, Lord Randel, King Kelwyn, Aeneva, Sanity, Druid Lord Lothander, Stalker. They Sucseed So The World thought

Sanity the gardian angelWas Kiled by his Brother Kartan . Stalker A Forest Giant Sacerficed his Life For Karrak And Aeneva Two mystirus Men Showed Up And Joind The Party on their jurny Duncan And Conner . Nerre the end of the Jurny DUncan Truned On the Goupe And so did the one Known as Garret But Garret Was soon turnd back to normall But Not After Damage Was Done By Both Garret And Duncan . DUncan Disaperrd And Garret was turnd back to normle And The Band fineshd their jurny and quest. The Kindom They were from Prosperd And there was Peac But Now Some thing Dark Is Comeing.

The action is taking place in a world much like ours in te sense humans are the dominant life form, afterall we breed like bunnies. But other races, trolls, ogres, etc. all exist here too. As of this time there is only one true Kingdom of the humans left standing (Telerast) after centuries of internal strife and conflict among the humans. The other kingdoms were lost through wars and betrayl from among the humans and there many supposed allies. Now there is arising A warlord WHos Name is Unknown But his legone is Growing So is his Power and His newly conqurd territory. It is romerd tha he is allid with the orcs whom have taken home on a border seprating the Amizons from Telerast. In this world, there are many towns and cities, but only one true government left in it, and it now only controls a few hundred leagues of territory. Instead a Cuning land where the quick and the strong can survive along with the smart, and one's word is their bond. Honer is held high. Anywhere people can be found, but can a group of heroes be brought together in time to keep Telerast and the Humans And Other great cretures alive????

Karrack

Oc: Well, I'll give it a stab here Darktalon, and who knows maybe this old thread will make it somewhere. I'll be playing my old charecter again, so if anyone has questions regarding him just ask or read the old thread, it's still around. As for the others coming back to this new thread, hard to say.

Ic: Far from the town of Karracka named after him by Kelwyn, an honor he had never really asked for, Karrack sat in a chair, large enough to hold his considerable bulk, afterall, giants aren't a small race to begin with, especially moutain giants. Yet he was still young by many giants standard for having done the adventuring he had done. Afterall, he was only 42 years old.

Sitting there in his chair he finally came to the decision he wanted to make. Getting to his feet, he seized the table he had been contemplating, and grunting with the effort moved it over under the window facing to the west, looking down the valley now green with springs bounty. Here he was home, home in the moutains among his people, many of whom had died trying to stop the Great Evil he to had fought. Sighing at the thought he rubbed the stump where his left hand should have been, a parting gift from that evil, a gift he had been pleased to make to it for it had saved the life of his friend Vixen.

Yes, Vixen, his old partner, friend, and... maybe more.. "Vixen" he chuckled out the name.. "She should be here soon, along with the others too." He thought happily. For today they were meeting, the last of the band of heroes that had gone forth to fight the Evil. "Let's see here, Kelwyn, Avallyn, Garret, Randel, Lothander, and... Vixen, all had said they were coming." he thought through as he made arrangements in his home to make them welcome. As he brought up food and ale from below he grinned at the joy of seeing his friends, especially Kelwyn and Avallyn who had been married a year before. Really the last time the group had gotten together since that last fateful battle.

Jornan:

Brushing out the mane of a stallion, Jornan hummed to himself softly. It was just another day, like any other in the stables. He didn't mind it though, this was his life after all, and it suited him well enough.

He stopped brushing out the horses mane and quirked his head slightly as he got a strange feeling. something bad was going down, he'd had this feeling before. Like the time he had been standing behind a wild black mare, a foolish mistake in his younger days... He'd gotten 'the feeling' only seconds before the horse kicked out, missing his head by inches when he ducked.

From that day on, he didn't ignore it when 'the feeling' came over him... Stepping out of the stall he was in he walked cautiously along the stable, peeking into each stall as he passed by. He came upon a man who was emptying out the contence of a saddle bag. Jornan was the only one here today and knew for a fact that this was not this man's horse. "Hey!" Jornan said aloud. "You! Stop there!" He rushed over to the man, waving his hands wildly.

Fate (Stalkers Gost)

"Ah A reuinon And I Wasnt In Vited. How soon you you forget the One who saved your life. Oh woit a minet Im Dead You Dint forget me ." He laughs at his statment He stands looking at Karrak he cant see him but karak can sens him it seems hes notice stakers presence be for Not that hes aknowlegd it befor He just ignors it . He steps to karraks hear and speeks in to it.
" An evil is Back But its Nothing like it was Be For Hes STronger And this time his twin isn't here to stop him. Are you even Up to Another Quest Old Friend ?" STalker than Vanishis.

Avallyn sat atop her horse Illynya her trusted general and friend rode beside her. "Are you sure we should attend this Lyn" Lyn was a name Avallyn's closest friends called her and Illynya was as close as they came. They both found each other when they were young. Both had been survivors of Orc raids and they had helped each other. When Avallyn was names heir to the Amazonian throne Illynya had held no jelousy just happiness for her friend. Now they rode to meet Avallyn's companions who were meeting after all this time. Avallyn admitted to herself she looked forward to seeing Kelwyn mostly. After they had finished their quests she was called quickly back to her kingdom. She sent messengers to him telling him that she missed speaking with him when he never replied she gave up hope but she then came to find out that the borders between their kingdoms had been over run with Orcs and none had gotten through. "Lyn are you listening to me?" Illynya asked her eyes narrowing. Snapping back to the present she nodded "I'm sorry Illynya. Yes I think it will be fine" Lately Avallyn had felt an immense evil growing in power and Illynya was worried that Aralia (the Amazon kingdom) was it's target. "We'll be fine. Now lets hurry I do not wish keep my companions waiting" With that both women moved at a faster pace.

Jornan:

"Surely there is a more... 'honorable' way to handle this then? You say he stole from you? Does that, with your high honor, make it right to steal in return?" Stepping closer, still hesitant, the mention that this man was not human unnerved Jornan slightly. "And..." Just milling over the words the man had said. "You said these things were stolen from your PEOPLE, but you say you are just taking back what is YOUR'S..." Jornan tilted his head slightly.

Dailin

He walked out of the inside of the building, all covered in soot and ash. Dailin looked around at the ruins of what had been a thriving village and shook his head. Why would someone want to cause this much damage; what was there to prove by it? He hit himself lightly, getting rid of the soot and sighed. He had come here to take a rest and some food and for some reason been attacked by the same people who had destroyed the village.

Dailin looked down at the scimitars that still sat in their scabbards and wished that now he had never come to this town. He then heard a noise and turned, being shocked when he saw his horse standing there. Dailin walked over to where he stood quickly and jumped onto his back then said, "We have to find somewhere safe Wind because if we don't I have a feeling those people will be back to finish what they started today."

Karrack

Ooc: Well Siren, back in the saddle again with me and hopefully the rest of the gang soon. Good to see you posting again.

Ic: Karrack had felt...a presence. Then shrugging he had gone about getting things finished up for the upcoming feast. Suddenly he heard a voice by his side asking him if he was up for another quest. Turning quickly he looked to see if someone had been behind him, but no one was there! Shaking his head in a perplexed manner he strode over to the door wondering at the message. Opening the door to his modest dwelling, afterall, he wasn't King of the Jurtan, merely the second heir to the throne since his oldest brother had taken it a year ago after his father had stepped down.

On the large portico that fronted the dwelling, he looked down the valley and picked out the shapes of two figures riding horseback making their way up the road that wound its way up the valley side to the small town where he was living. Smiling he waited and hoped it was some of his old friends on their way to his home.

Randel

Ooc: I guess since I mentioned he was coming I should probably play him..

Ic: Randel woke from a deep sleep, something he hadn't had much of the last few weeks now. Things were just busy, especially since the Orcs had managed to take most of the land bordering Telerast and Aralia. That had caused no end of trouble for him or Kelwyn in trying to reunite him with Avallyn. Grunting he moved himself from his bed and splashing some cold water on his face he got ready for the day.

Stepping out of his room just buckling on his sword he remembered that he was to meet his King at the small dining room, there to make their plans on the upcoming trip they were to take that afternoon to visit their friend Karrack at his home and also see their friends from the Quest. Smiling at the memories in a small sad way he stepped into the dining room and not seeing Kelwyn already there sat and awaited his lord and friend.

" marlik Duncan would like to se you as soon as poible .like now."

" I am honerd Where is Lord duncan ."

"he is In the town of Karraka Waiting for you And i am to take half your men with me in to the amizon kingdom. We will conqure it now be off marlik."

Jornan:

"You... You want to buy me a meal?" Jornan asked, his brow furrowing. He was not accustom to being treated as anything other than a lowly commoner, by anyone, least of all, the adventuring kind, they all always seemed so haughty. And for this person to offer him a show of kindness truely threw him for a loop. "Wh... Why?" He asked hesitantly.

OOC:

Excuse me. I don't mean to be rude, but just for the record, I think it's quite rude to take someone else's thread and revive it when the original author had plans to do that already.

Still... since Dark Lord is here... and I do adore posting with him as well as Ravenloft and Lady Siren... I'm posting... but I'm still not impressed by a certain someone.

IC: VIXEN

Vixen was galloping across the plains of Amstra apon a mare she had... appropriated... in the small town of Madagas. The wind whipped through her plaited hair and she let out a shout of sheer joy at the feeling of freedom. The horse itself seemed happy to have it's head and galloped with abandon in no particular direction. Both rider and steed just wanting to go... fast.

As they reached the start of the Forest of Agul Vixen urged the horse to slow to a stop. She took a deep breath. Her hair barely seemed out of place even after such a ride. Pulled tight against her head and in a severe single plait down her back. Her slender figure was dressed in tight leathers appropriate for riding but also having the added bonus of showing off her more feminine curves.

She and horse both entered the forest and continued at a more subdued pace towards... Karracka.

She giggled to herself.

Karrack with a town named after him. Truly King Kellwyn had a wry sense of humour.

As the Forest thinned she walked the horse through a small village. One of many that populated the outer reaches of the kingdom. A few curious children ran up to her hoping for some trinkets or food. She tossed them some apples she'd picked earlier that day and they squealed with delight pouncing on them and fighting over who should get which.

She felt a little. Strange. It had been a while since she had parted company with Karrack last. This in fact had probably been the longest time they had ever been apart. A troubled frown marred her forehead as she recalled those dark times. Those times had never really left them. She'd seen Orcs as close as Arman Land. Not a good sign. They could be produced at much quicker rate than any human could be. They came into existence fully functional and mature and ready to do battle.

Brushing aside these morbid thoughts she urged her horse into a canter and headed towards where Karrack would be.

Karrack

Ooc: Darktalon, I appreciate your thoughts regarding trying to restart the thread. I remembered your efforts to work yourself into the last one correctly so I have no hard feelings regarding your efforts at all. I mean, all you did was beat me to the punch in reviving the thread, so oh well, shit happens all the time in life.

If you want me to take the thread from you thats okay, I'm not to uptight about it now. And if I will be running it, then all I have to say to the newer people invovled is that you don't take direct actions on charecters or their territory unless you clear it with them first via PM. That way alot of problems will be solved long before the get started and if your ever unsure PM one of the older thread writers here.

Johnny, go ahead and switch yourself if that makes you feel better about writing in this thread, just make sure you go back and edit your posts to reflect that change. By the way Money, just for the record here in the thread, I'm at home in the Hammersmith moutains right now, not in Karracka, love ya!

Ic: Figuring the time it would take the figures on horseback to reach his home, he went back inside to check on a few more things and to change. Striding over to the great hearth at the end of the hall he made sure that the boar on it was not over cooking on one side. Smiling at seeing it cooking correctly he walked then to the stairs to reach his rooms.

Walking from the landing he entered a series of rooms which were just for him, passing a canvas upon which he was making an attempt at a painting, a thing he had learned to do from Lady Avallyn during the Quest. It was a landscape showing the valley spread out below his window. It sat next to another picture, this one of a woman with wild eyes full of laughter on horseback, her lithe body encased in supple leather, with many a knife gleaming about her person, while her hair blew in a mane behind her. Smiling somewhat sadly at the picture Karrack kept walking.

As he entered the last room, his personal chamber, he looked to the right where stood a wooden frame upon which his armor rested. The great skull of a bull troll atop all of it. One eye had been covered with a metal plate, and after the last great adventure most of the skull had been destroyed in savage fighting. Nodding to it he went to the wardrobe and began to select out a set of clothes made from leather and fur, his two favorite substances. Changing into them he then grabbed a gauntlet like thing which covered his stump on his left arm, and winding leather about it, he checked himself in the mirror...

Duncan

OOC: To Be Honest i Dont Care Which one of us is in charge I have full coonfidence in your abilitys. IC: Duncan looked All Around What use to be the city of Karrak. He rubed the scar over his left eye And then smiled at At what he saw he then rubed some of the bones Embeded in his armer . Most of his men thought that the bone were from some animel. But in reality the Bone were from the arm Of the giant Karrak Who gave duncan his scar. Ducan Waited for his Generals to retun For when Bothe Marlik And Correk Return He will make his mof An The rest of the land His artifacts will Be Found Soon . Or so He thinks For now he sits and plans. Duncan sudenly Lets Out an un holy roar For to hear.

OOC: DarkTalon check your Pm's please. And I need someone to play Kelwyn? Money Talks had him last thread but I don't know if she plans on playing him this time? if not we need someone to take him up

Vixen

Vixen looked over the town named after her friend. She had wanted to see it ever since she heard word of the honour bestowed apon him.

It was considerably out of her way and for a fleeting moment she wondered if she was trying to avoid arriving at the Hammersmith Mountains altogether. Which was silliness because why would she want to avoid her dear friend Karrack? Why indeed. She flinched as the memory came flooding back. His great arm arching out to protect her. She refused to dwell on it and physically shook her head to rid herself of the image that even now shook her.

Dismounting from her mare she looked about the peaceful township. Children here were obviously better fed and happy. The men folk all going about their business. Good solid folk. Housewives chattered happily together as they went about their own tasks.

"Hoy there young traveller, can I help ye at all then?"

Vixen turned to see a friendly sort of old man. He had a short neatly trimmed white beard and the most vivid blue eyes she'd ever seen on a person. He instantly made her feel safe. It was a very odd sensation and it actually unsettled her.

"No, I'm just passing through, I'm on my way to the Hammersmith Mountains."

"Aye... I hear they are lovely this time of year, yes indeed." He smiled up at her.

She offered a stiff smile of her own back.

"So... ye have obviously travelled from afar then?"

"Yeah."

"The youth today enjoy searching for their destiny in the far off lands." He nods wisely.

Vixen frowned as she looked at him more closely. He laughed suddenly and turned away beckoning her to follow him. She hesitated, but then tied her horse to a nearby post and followed the strange man almost reluctantly. He led her to what seemed to be his house. A small unassuming affair. He waved her to sit in one of the only two seats and then he offered her a mug of mulled wine.

She took it but didn't sip it... rather she fiddled with the mug... her thoughts immediately straying to other things.

"Aye... we get a lot of passers through this way we do..." the old man nodded putting a plate of cheese and dark bread on the table.

"In fact just the other day, near on ten riders... all hell bent on going somewhere."

"Ten riders? What did they look like?"

"Look like? Well now... much like yourself I'd say... dusty... they'd travelled far that is for certain."

"Men? Soldiers?"

"No... no... travellers."

"Travellers."

"Yes, travellers."

"Like me."

"Yes."

Vixen stood up quickly.

"So... you'll be off now then? Well... safe journey my child."

"Thank you."

He smiled after her as she hurried back to her horse.

She rode hard. This time she made directly for her intended destination. Only stopping briefly to water and rest her horse before making incredible good time to the Hammersmith Mountains.

As always, the sight of them left her slightly awestruck. The magnitude of them was truly overwhelming. A worthy place of a race of giants. The air was noticably crisp and fresh. She inhaled deeply of it and felt noticably lighter for it. Even her mare, worn and tired as she was seemed to perk up considerably. Finally she reached his home. She felt butterflies in her tummy as she swung down off the horse and looped the reigns through the horse post. The horse lapped at the water trough greedily and Vixen strode towards the door.

She knocked briskly and waited for him to answer.

King Kellwyn

OOC: Since I orginally played him I will write for him until or unless someone else wants to take over :)

Kellwyn had not heard word from Queen Avallyn for some time and it worried him. As did the word that something evil stirred. He was grateful at least for the gathering planned. A reunion of sorts. Something to look forward too.

He missed Avallyn more than he dared admit. Ruling the throne was no easy task and he felt lonlier for it since the quest had ended.

Having sat through his forced morning ritual of having too many servants waiting on him and dressing him up like some puppet for display he finally dismissed them all curtly and made his way through the palace.

He headed straight for the dinning room where of late he and Lord Randall had met for the breaking of the fast to go over elements of politics that required both of them to consider. It was an increasingly difficult game of intrigue that was disturbing the King a great deal. Too much petty fighting and backstabing and sinister plots were being hatched. Lords and Dukes now without any evil to band them together all looked to bettering their own lives. It was a game Kellwyn disliked with a passion.

"Randall, you're here... good... good..." The King sat down heavily and immediately several servants rushed in with plates of food fresh from the kitchens.
