I awakened in the hospital to the doctor talking to my Uncle John. “She is the sole survivor.” He said, “The poor thing lost her father, mother, and boyfriend. The blaze was very suspicious considering how the blaze was started. Luckily, she managed to break a window and climb out. I am concerned about her mental state considering she went through a very traumatic loss. Another thing that concerns me is the fact that she was mentioning a place called Lothen in her sleep. I am sure you will take really good care of her.”. I despise the fact I am being sent to live with my uncle at his institution. I am deeply upset that my book burned in the blaze which meant no escape and I feared I would never see my beloved friend again as well as the others.. I felt so bad that my visits decreased.
I faced my Uncle, who my father seriously hated considering the way he started staring at me at family get togethers. Much to my disgust, I was his. Though I am 18, as the doctor said he was concerned about my mental state which meant more than likely I would become a patient. I tried to object, but my Uncle was not hearing any of it. I got dressed and hoped that I would be able to be pleasant on the way to the asylum.
