OOC: This thread is for Uncle Sam and myself only. As the story develops, we'll be happy to include more players!
IC: I couldn't take it anymore, I had to run away.
I come from a very poor neighborhood where noone raises an eyebrow when kids are playing late in the street. My father works in a factory mill and my mom cleans houses for rich people. They scream at each other when they've been drinking too much and then everyone can hear them as they are making up in the bedroom.
One afternoon, I decided I had to get away from it all. I had no particular plans, just wanted to go beyond the horizon. I bought myself a train ticket to London and landed at King's Cross Station. I walked, and walked, and walked... The evening came, diner time and I was getting hungry. I had a little spare money in my pocket so I bought some cheap and greasy junk food at the corner of a street. I then made my way back to the King's cross and was able to find a bench to sleep safely.
A couple of days went on like this, but soon enough I had no money left and was ready to welcome help. That's when, as I was sitting on my favorite bench and wondering what I should do next, a strange looking man stood in front of me. He leaned over me and whispered: "Hello girl... Looks like I could do something for you..."
