OOC: I need about four people for this thread its a new role, so I am not sure how its going to come out... I will list the characters and there parts.. and you can decide there backrounds ages and names. I will play Tessa, sweet young and innocent pure at heart, about 18 knowing nothing of life love nor marriage and she is to marry the most powerful man.. here is the role I need a husband to play the part of the king, his maid who will be Tessas caregiver and ultimently her best friend as well as she is the kings advisor and best friend... I will as well need the kidnapper who will kidnap Tessa in order to gain the kings money as well... thats the bases of the role here is the rest...

Tessa waits alone with tears in her eyes in the room her new husband the room her husband has asked her to await his arrival. Tessa was forced into this marriage by her own father in order to pay his gambling debts. She was not ready for this marriage at all. Tessa feared her new husband, so did the people of his land, he was fierce and coldhearted most had said, although very handsome and strong. But what Tessa didn't know is what this life was going to bring her....Kings part already taken

Patrick waited for abit knowing that Tessa was upstairs waiting his arrival, but he wasn't ready to go up yet. He finished his drink quickly and talked to his servants before he got up, and headed upstairs towards the Soon to be Queens bedroom. He knew Tessa was the most beautiful girl in all the land, with her tight ass, and her good size breasts and long red hair, the second her father offered her to him for paying off his debts he agreed, but he knew she would be a fiesty one to tame.

Tessa stood by the window she couldn't believe that she was basically sold and needless to say she was furious, sure the man she was married.. was strong powerful and drop dead gorgeous but she did not want to get married anytime soon, and to a man she pretty much detested.

Patrick looked at the maid who was standing outside the door to the bedroom. "Susannah you will come in with me, calm her down." He knocked on the door and entered it, seeing Tessa face grow with anger as he entered the room. "Tessa, this is my maid Susannah, she will now be your caregiver, she will be getting you ready for the wedding this afternoon, if you refuse to get married this afternoon, your family will be killed." With that he turned and left the room, leaving the two of them alone

Tessa looked at this man as if he were absolutly insane and then back at the beautiful maid... ''He would really kill my family?'' She asked softly and this time it wasn't anger she showed it was concern.

"He would really kill my family?''

Susannah put down the tray and curtseyed before stepping towards the clearly nervous girl.
"I doubt he'd actually do you family serious harm, Miss, he's just..." She paused trying to find the right words. "He's just not the most tactful of speakers when he's tense..."
She glanced over the pretty young girl before looking at the floor.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Miss? Would you like me to help with your hair ready for the...the wedding...?" She asked quietly.

Gregory sat in the asement with the rest of his order. A secret underground resistance, organized by Gregory's father, had been working to undermine the King's authority and remove the tyrant from power for many years. His father had been caught and burned alive as a traitor while Gregory watched, steeling his heart for the work that was yet to be done. The king rule with an iron fist.. his soldiers acting as secret police, rooting out all unsympathetic to his rule. So the King ruled through the soldiers.. and the soldiers served for money. He who has the money has the power. Gregory and his rebels were preparing for their most daring revolutionary move yet. They were going to kidnap the King's newest bride-to-be and force a hefty ransom out of the king, with which they would fund their own militia group to overthrow his rule..

Patrick went back downstairs and went to his meeting with his main advisors, the treasury and military advisors. He quickly found out that their were rumors of someone planning an attack against him, or Tessa, but they didn't have any specific info. Patrick told his military to increase its presence at the wedding, but to still try to keep hidden from the guests. He looked at his treasury advisor, and found out that while he was still the richest person in the land, he was losing some of his wealth, and some of his power because of that. Patrick shook his head, and went to the castle wall, looking at the town around it. Yes he might be ruthless, but you have to be, to be King, for the most part the townspeople led a good life, as long as they obeyed the laws of the land.

Tessa smiled at the maid she was already very kind to her and that was what Tessa needed. ''Thank-you Susannah'' Tessa said thoughtfully and smiled... ''And yes I would love your help to get ready'' She said witha brighter smile and sat in the chair by the window... ''Can I confide in you?'' Tessa asked lightly meekly almost

''Thank-you Susannah...And yes I would love your help to get ready''

Susannah waited until she had taken a seat beside the window, pouring her a goblet of wine and setting it on the table next to her in case she wanted something a little stronger to settle her obvious nerves. Picking up a hairbrush, she stood behind Tessa and began to brush through her long hair, slowly and carefully.

''Can I confide in you?''

"Anything you say to me, Miss, goes no further...I promise..." Susannah replied earnestly, running the brush through her soft hair.

''I wasn't going to say no, I mean I am not ready for this by any means.. but a promise is a promise.. even if it's one my father made'' Tessa said honestly..''And its not that I think the lord a ugly man cause by far he isn't, it's just I always thought I'd marry for love'' Tessa said softly and took a sip from the goblet as Susannah ran the brush through her hair.

''I wasn't going to say no, I mean I am not ready for this by any means.. but a promise is a promise.. even if it's one my father made''

Susannah put down the brush and began to take sections of Tessa's long hair, braiding them ready to pin up for the wedding. Listening carefully and quietly.

''And its not that I think the lord a ugly man cause by far he isn't, it's just I always thought I'd marry for love''

"It cannot be an easy decision to make but...you might find that he improves on closer acquaintance..." Susannah replied softly after a moment or two. She had worked in the castle since her youth, employed as a young kitchen worker who had worked her way higher through the ranks of the staff to become one of the young King's advisors and now, maid to the new Queen. Her first impression of him had been of a gruff, proud young man who perhaps had more power than he knew how to deal with but that had changed over the years as their 'friendship', for want of a better word, had grown. "And you may yet find love with the King...who are we to know the paths our hearts intend us to follow..." Susannah smiled as she took another section of her hair and began to braid it like the others.

Tessa smiled back at the woman who was slowly easing her fears about the lord.. and as well making her feel very much at home... ''Thank-you so much for telling me this.. it means a great deal to me, and if I might add you yourself are a very beautiful woman, I am surprised the king hasn't chosen you'' Tessa said and smiled when Susannah was finished with her hair.

Susannah pinned up Tessa's hair carefully, leaving some tendrils curling down around her face and neck before stepping back slightly, her head bowed and her cheeks a little flushed.
"You're very kind to say so, Miss, but...but I am just a servant...I have nothing of interest to his Majesty..." She looked up shyly. "I serve him loyally...that is all he asks of me and so I do my utmost to do so...just as I shall serve you, Miss..."

Tessa smiled should she be jelous of the maid nonsense she herself did not want the lord.. but she was to be his wife.. but his loyal maid was stunning afterall.. ''Thank-you again however I guess its time to get dressed and meet the king'' Tessa said with a sigh and the sadness was back in her dark green eyes

Susannah saw Tessa's eyes moving over her, almost as if trying to work something out. Almost as if checking to see if she was a threat' of some kind.

"Thank-you again however I guess its time to get dressed and meet the King''

"As you wish, Miss..." Susannah gave her what she hoped was a cheering smile, headed into the small dressing room off of her chambers and came back with the long white dress in her arms, a delicate veil and headpiece nestled on the top. "Will you be wanting any help in dressing, Miss...?" She asked, carefully laying the floor length gown onto the bed, along with the veil.

Tessa smiled a little.. she wanted to trust the other woman, but she had a very hard time trusting anybody at this point.

''I think I can manage... but thank-you for wanting to help me'' Tessa said softly... ''When I am ready shall I seek you before going to meet the king?'' Tessa asked lightly and smiled once again.

''I think I can manage... but thank-you for wanting to help me...When I am ready shall I seek you before going to meet the king?''

"I shall wait outside, Miss, that way should you need me all you need do is call..." Susannah smiled, curtseying once more and heading towards the door. "When you're ready, I will escort you down to the King...and don't rush yourself, Miss, take your time..." She gave Tessa another smile before stepping through the door and shutting it gently behind her, leaving the girl along with her wedding dress.

Tessa looked over the dress after Susannah left.. it was stunnung she thought.. to stunnung for one of her stature her hands were shaking and that very seldome happened... she carefully put the dress on and got ready.. before opening the door again and telling susanna she was ready.. she wasn't sure she looked so good.. but the mirror showed otherwise.

Susannah smiled as Tessa emerged from the bedchamber, the dress clinging to her curves and enhancing her beauty. The veil hanging down over her face.
"Oh...you look like an angel, Miss..." She said quietly with a smile. "I'm sure the King will be beside himself when he sees you like this..."
Susannah led the way downstairs to the hall where the wedding was to take place, instructing another servant to fetch the King, waiting with Tessa in an ante-chamber while the King was summoned, the two of them waiting in nervous silence.

Tessa smiled brightly as Susannah said that easing her own fears of her looks... ''Thank-you.. and please call me Tessa... I might be becoming the queen.. but I am still.. Tessa..'' She said with a smile.. ''And this may be far fetched but seeing as I have noone in my corner you think you could stand in as my bridesmaid?''

''Thank-you.. and please call me Tessa... I might be becoming the queen.. but I am still.. Tessa..''

"As you wish, Mi-...Tessa..." Susannah smiled back.

''And this may be far fetched but seeing as I have noone in my corner you think you could stand in as my bridesmaid?''

"I would be more than happy to, Tessa..." Susannah felt her cheeks flush a little, while the King honoured her by having her act as one of his advisors on the running of the castle, she was still treated as someone lower than he, just as it should be. And here was the future Queen treating her like an equal. "Thank you..."

Tessa smiled softly at the other woman... ''No need to thank me I didn't come from all that wealth either.. so I treat people the way I want to be treated and you have showed me nothing but kindness since i've came here'' Tessa said and smiled again.

They both awaited the king and then heard his heavy foot coming.. Tessa grew nervous but looked over at Susannah and felt alot better having her at her side.
