“They’ll be here in half an hour, Andrea. Do shift yourself, there’s a good girl. Make sure the cushions are all fluffed up, and that you haven’t dropped any crumbs. Then check the wine in the fridge is cool enough. Oh, and the nibbles need to go out now, I think. Then come upstairs and zip me up!”

Ugh! Andrea grimaced at the string of orders from her mother. She didn’t see why she had to do all the work, getting everything ready. It wasn’t her stupid Ladies Circle. The sooner they were here, the sooner she could go to her room and put on some loud music to drown out the boring grown up chatter downstairs.

The holidays were dragging, and Andrea half-missed her school friends, most being away doing exciting things, not stuck at home with Mom! But she was beginning to get tired of them.

Once the chores downstairs were done, Andrea climbed the stairs stomping on each one in non-vocal rebellion.

“Come and zip me up, darling,” her mother called. Now how did she know Andrea was already upstairs? Mrs Jeanette Kay was a petite brunette, very trim figure, modest bust, and she made the short red dress look gorgeous. She made everything she wore look gorgeous. Luckily Andrea seemed to have inherited most of her Mum’s genes. Nature is sometimes very kind. But where her mother was dressed elegantly, formally, Andrea was in the usual jeans and t shirt, yellow today, her long brunette hair in a neat ponytail, sandals on her feet.

Andrea mused that all the ladies in the Circle seemed to look good. Not good for their age, they really looked good. Perhaps that was the qualification for membership? Andrea had no idea what else they had in common. Last time she listened they were talking about all sorts of boring stuff.

Now zipped up, Mrs Kay turned to her daughter, kissed her forehead and patted her arm.

“You’re a good girl. I’m sorry the holiday has dragged for you, but its nearly New Year, you have a party to go to, and soon you’ll be with your friends again.”

Andrea rolled her eyes. Like that was going to make things any better!

“Come and help me settle everyone in, then you can come up to your room, ok sweetie?”

“Sure mum,” the teenager replied. She might grumble, protest and drag her feet, but she always did as she was told.

It wasn’t long before the guests started to arrive, and Andrea did her thing, being charming, offering white wine, taking coats.

Soon enough she was able to escape up to her room, where she immersed herself in music and the internet.

Downstairs, Jeanette Kay called the meeting to order, announced how much money was in the communal fund still, reminded everyone of the Social Calendar, and then opened the meeting up for the exciting part.

“Now, its Challenge your Neighbour time. Lets hear how everyone did with their last challenges and set some new ones. Who’d like to go first?”

There followed the decidedly juicy accounts of various daring exploits, the ladies reliving the thrills and arousals in the retelling, and after they were all done reporting back, they took a break.

In the small talk that followed, one of the ladies complimented Jeanette on how well her daughter had turned out, so charming this afternoon.

“Yes, she can be, can’t she? But she’s not been herself this holidays, not really enjoyed them, and doesn’t seem to eager to get back to her friends. I think she needs something new in her life,” then after a thoughtful pause, “or someone?”

She looked round the room, and had everyone’s attention. There were some smiles already playing on some ladies faces as they anticipated what might be coming next.

“I’m pretty sure Andrea is straight, but then she does take mostly after me, so maybe not completely straight,” and she grinned while they all exchanged knowing looks. “Is anyone up for the challenge of finding out?”

Ava had been close with the Kay's for years, and looked on them like a second family. Now seeing Andrea, as beautiful as she is was stirring her passions. The stories being told from the last challenge your neighbour didn't help her passions either, they enflamed them. Feeling strong, horny and adventurous, she said: "I accept the challenge, what are the rules for this one ladies?" She enquired.

One of the other ladies jumped in with a suggestion,

"You have to seduce her into a blatant lasbian sexual act, of her own consent, and for proof she has to confess it one of us?"

There was a lot of discussion about that, but generally it was liked, though they were beginning to get sidetracked on just what made up a 'blatant lasbian sexual act'

Was kissing enough, a good tongue invading passionate kiss? Or did it have to involve nudity of some kind? Or mutual touching of private parts, naked private parts?

"What do you think, Ava, you're the one who accepted the challenge?" Jeanette asked, curious about what she might have in mind for her daughter.

"I accept, on the basis that blatant sexual act is 2nd base or more." What does everyone think about that for a definition?

Ava shoots a look over to Jeanette, making a sultry eye contact look with her. She can see the other women getting hotter as well. " I think we should be careful though. We don't want to set a trend of seducing each others kids!"

Again there was some heated discussion on whether second base was sufficient to be a lesbian activity.

"She has to touch you, as well as you touch her," someone added by way of helpful clarity, and someone else quipped, "but that's only the minimum to pass the challenge," effectively setting a second challenge; could Ava get further than second base?

"But Ava already said, second base, or more, so its already covered!"

"So that we don't get in the way, lets all agree to fully support Ava, and encourage Andrea in any way we can ... yes?"

Again there was general discussion, and no disagreements.

"I think that covers it," Jeanette summed up, "But we want a progress report every week! Is that ok Ava? Do you still accept? Oh, and you can start as soon as the meeting is over, I think?"

Of course, and that sounds lovely girls. One more thing, any rules I should be set to make it interesting??"

She says, as she walks away, winking at Jean as she goes to leave.

"Well, if you want to make it interesting," Jeanette replied, "then your only limits are what is legal and won't ruin her future or anyone else's in the Circle. Apart from that, you have a free hand!" winking back.

The other ladies loved it, and one or two started to think of what little extras they might be suggestion to Ava in the coming days.

Ava takes it in her stride and walks away from the girls, up to Andrea's room. She lightly knocks on the door, and enters.

"Hey honey, do you mind if I come in??"

Hearing the knock at the door, Andrea turned down her music and put her tablet on the table by the bed. Calling out, "Come in!" from where she half sat, half lay on pillows on her bed, still wearing her yellow t shirt and stretch jeans, feet now bare, she watched the door open and Ava come into her room.

"Hi Ava," the youngster said, and smiled. She's always liked Ava.

Ava's wearing a loose blouse and jeans, with no shoes on.

"Hey honey, you're mum mentioned you haven't seemed yourself lately, is everything alright??" She comes down and sits next to her on her bed, having closed the door.

Andrea thought it was really sweet of Ava to come in and sit with her, and she slid across to make room on the bed for her mum's friend.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Just a little bored maybe? The holiday dragged a bit with most of my friends away, but its back to school soon." And yet the girl didn't sound very enthusiastic about returning to be with her friends.

"Honey you don't sound seem very excited to be going back, you aren't looking forward to seeing all your freinds again??"

"Well yeah I guess," still not very excited, "its just that they're, I dunno, a bit kind of tame, dull. I dunno, Ava, maybe I'm just ready to leave school and go on to College?"

She looked at the older woman, to see if maybe she understood, because Andrea wasn't sure if she herself did.

"Oh I understand. Well I would agree somewhat with you honey, college is certainly more interesting. Maybe in the meanwhile you find yourself a new group of friends? Or encourage your current ones to let loose a little??" Ava leaned a little closer.

"What makes them boring hon?"

Ava was really kind listening to her like this. After all, a teenager's emotions weren't exactly interesting to a grown up, but Ava's words showed that she wasn't just fobbing the girl off with platitudes, and Andrea thought about what she said.

"Its a bit difficut to just find a new group of friends, which is why College looks so attractive. And I don't think my present friends will let loose particularly. They're ok really, its just I want something more, something exciting, unpredictable, not so boringly safe? I'm probably not making much sense," and the girl just looked down at her knees and sighed.

Ava edged closer to Andrea, gently touching her chin with her hand, she brought it up so she was looking into her deep slightly dejected eyes.

"You make perfect sense honey, I know lots of people who were like you at your age. I was. Cheer up honey okay?? It gets better, its just sometimes you have to make your life exiting, you can't wait on anyone to do it for you."

"So what is you want to do that you can't do with them?"

Sometimes you have to make your life exciting, and not wait for anyone else? It sounded so obvious, really.

"I dunno Ava, I never really thought about life that way. I mean, I'm so used to doing what everyone else wants, or expects from me. I'm not used to striking out on my own."

The youngster thought for a moment, then went on,

"But I guess one reason I'm looking forward to college is to try new things, things I never did before; and maybe find a boyfriend?" She looked coyly at Ava as she said this, wondering if her mother's friend really wanted to know about that part of her life.

"I think that's definitely the right attitude for college, be open-minded, what did you have in mind?"

Ava approved of being open minded? No, more like she recommended it.

"Well, I like to think I'm open minded, Ava, and yes I hope to not reject anything out of hand. I was thinking maybe join the swimming club, since I'm quite good at that at school, then possibly rock climbing, or photography?"

Andrea wasn't sure how much to say straight off. She noted that Ava didn't follow up the boyfriend remark. Would she pick up on the swim suits, the thrill seeking, the opportunities for a girl in a photography group?

"That could be fun, maybe you find a cute boy in the photography class. To be honest in my experience however, there have been some fantastic guys in the swim team" She said somewhat jokingly, yet clearly true.

"Ha ha, and their speedos are nice and tiny!" Andrea giggled with Ava, liking the way she was thinking.

Andrea didn't mention that it wasn't for cute guys that she was thinking of photography.

"As are the girls!" Ava lets out as a ''Mistake''. Giving Andrea a little punch to her side, wanting to hide the line she threw to her...

"I always used to get a bit jealous sometimes watching them"

"jealous of the other girls? But why, Ava?" Andrea asked, a little mystified.

Ava was a good looking woman, who would equally have been a good looking teenager. Why should she be jealous of other girls?

"Well sometimes you find women who are more attractive than you, and you sometimes get jealous, and sometimes get pent up. Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean they are above jealousy honey" xx

Andrea was silent for a moment as she thought about that.

Then looking up she asked,

"You're not jealous of me, are you Ava? Just because I'm younger?" A look of concern in her eyes.
