theres got to a be a dozen books out there any one know which one is a good one to learn from? or read?

wouldnt that depend on what it is you seek to learn about?
if you give more info, you'll get more specific help.

You could always start with the original

i just bought a non-illustated edition from eBay. i'm not so interested in the pictures as i am in the philosophy behind it all.

My favorite is "The Complete Kama Sutra: The First Unabridged Modern Translation of the Classic Indian Text" Translated by Alain Danielou, copyright 1994 by Park Street Press.

Enjoy. :)
