imagine if you will a village troubled by a mysterious disease and towns folk dissapearing in the middle of the night. the king has sent many soldiers to try and solve the mystery and none have returned. the king has sent messengers to the far reaches of the kingdom to recruit a team of brave souls to help solve the mystery.
this will be based loosely on the pen&paper d&d system. i am looking for at least seven people maybe more for this story possibly to run two different teams of adventurers compeating with each other. if you are interested post a 1st-3rd level character concept. give a name and basic description of your character and what he or she is carrying for equipment.

descrption: Shin wears a loose fitting bluish black shirt and black leather pants he has several scars on his back, arms and face from when he was in the breeding camp. his silver hair hangs down just past his shoulders and is usualy tied in a tight braid. he has a broad frame for a drow and his 150 pound weight is mostly do to all the lean muscle he has built up over the years. he caries a small pack that hangs on his left shoulder and a large cloth bundle on his back his feet are clad in black leather boots and a small dagger his tucked in the inside of his right boot.
back story:
shin was born to a high ranking drow family the only son out of 11 children. when he was 10 years old his mother sold him to a breeding camp where he lived for three years before being bought by a wealthy merchant. when he was 19 he fled the under dark and took the name Shin trying to forget his past and make a new life for himself in the world above. his real name is Tar-e of house Hun-Ana. ( his name means love slave of the sister hood of the night)
personality: Shin is quiet and reserved and dosent say much. he keeps to himself and is kind of skittish around women. when he dose speak he is very polite and gets right to the point. he is driven by his constant need to prove himself worthy of the life he was given and can be rash and impulsive at times if he thinks he is in someones debt he will do everything he can to help and please that person in order to repay them.
