One of them, Mychal Bell, 17, was convicted of aggravated battery, a crime that could have put him behind bars for at least 15 years. On Friday, a state appeals court overturned the conviction, agreeing that he had been unlawfully tried as an adult. The others still face aggravated battery charges. The six students SHOULD be charged and tried.

Six juveniles jump and beat up another. Race doesn't mean a damn thing here. those six should be tried for aggravated battery, black, white, yellow, or green. The only mistake made here was trying the one juvenile as an adult. The sentence should have been lessened to one comparable for a juvenile.
