The Jack Be Nimble series by Tyler H?
I haven't had a chance to read a lot of stories yet but these happened to catch my eye in the "horror sex" story section.
I admit, being female I have some bias against rape stories and fantasies. I have a hard time stomaching them sometimes as well as rape scenes in movies. Rape is a horrible, brutal crime and for years I was disgusted if I read something by an author who seemed to take pleasure in writing about it. But then I grew up a bit and realized that I need to stop being so damn intense and lighten up a bit since most writers who write rape scenarios are not actually raping themselves. (because they're WRITERS....duh)
Anyway, once I got past my own uptight issues and opened my mind a bit I found a whole new world of erotica and I've enjoyed some "darker" type of stories like these over the past few years. I have to admit, this Jack Be Nimble series is one of them. The violence is graphic and brutal and Jack's victims are truely brutalized by his urges and need to feed (he's also a vampire) but I was just blown away at how well these stories were written.
I am seriously looking forward to the next one if this Tyler H fellow decides to submit more. Jack is a vampire that rapes and sometimes tortures his female victims before feeding on them. He meets a homeless girl who figures out what he is and who's a bit dark herself. She convinces him to let her be his human "pet". She herself is into pain.
I was kind of surprised at how much I liked these stories. But I'm a sucker for excellent character developement which I've seen very clearly in these stories. I even laughed out loud when Jack was walking a college student from a bar and he made a sarcastic comment to her about why her boyfriends treated her the way they did...then he proceeds to knock her to the ground when she gives him a shocked look.
Anyway, I'm not sure if this author visits the board much but I really enjoyed this little series of stories. There are a lot of amazing writers on here. Man, I'm already feeling insecure about my stuff. lol.
