The Isolated Political Blurt Thread

This week alone, President Don has flipflopped on:

Syria
China currency manipulation
Janet Yellen
Low interest rate policy
Import Export Bank
NATO

At what point do his supporters think they elected Hillary?
He also lifted the government hiring ban, and adjusted his stance on Korea.

His supporters don't have the brains to even notice anything he doesn't say himself--they don't notice those are all lies. For most of them, all they were interested in was to get an antiabortion justice on the Supreme Court, and they got that this week. They're all good with this last week.

They're just happy to have an old white man in the OO.

And the last 12 or whatever.

Listening to Face the nation. Stopped to watch for a bit. Heard a quotation.

In the final year of World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered John Adams's famous blessing carved on the stone fireplace of the State Dining Room where it can be seen today. On November 2, 1800, Adams wrote to his wife:

"I pray Heaven to bestow the best of Blessings on this House and on all that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise Men ever rule under this roof."

Adams's blessing was carved into the State Dining Room mantel in 1945.

There you have it.

Bitter Freak Boy is a big ol' fraud, and a weirdo stalker

Someone on the interwebs has convinced him to spend his mental time and energy on "us" as if it's more important than actual politics.

You have people who pay attention to real policy (like abortion laws) and get upset and invested in that; and you have stalker freak parasites like Bitter Boy who know nothing about policy, don't care, don't know what's going on, and just want to latch onto "our" reactions

Freakin' creepy, like a stalker

"We" don't care about you, sorry to say. You think about us, stalk us, think you're in some kind of mental battle with "us." Sad. Like being in a totally imaginary relationship

That but mostly just watching people like you spaz out is what we're interested in. :D

It's not really any different than turning on the news and watching some noodley armed millennial anti-fa dipshit get their teeth knocked out by an old man.

Shit's hysterical.

Chaffetz, a man who craves the spotlight and clearly delights in his position of power, will not stand for reelection, and may even step down early. Anyone smell fish?

Deliberate Murder of Print Media

The fish rots at the head, and so follows the body.

The most rotted are television news media captains.

Reminds me of the BLM murderers, that capture wild horses. They do not give a fuck about anything. Just their bank accounts and their wallets.

Steam is exiting my ears, at the moment. Walter Cronkite had once again, failed. The matter concerning the government, I can forgive. Who knows what threats were made?

But, to feed the narrative, that young people were to blame for their own deaths?

Fuck you, Walter Cronkite. You could have bucked the system, and told the whole truth.

In print media, there is always a roadmap to the truth. People will step forward, and tell the truth. The physical world holds onto the truth, one way, or another.

In the end, the truth does wash away deception.

Putin's solution is to kill the journalists, and the people who speak the truth.

Edward R. Murrow died April 27, 1965

I asked myself, would Edward R. Murrow be allowed to speak on TV, today ?( If he had been born with the rest of my generation...)

In his day,he fought McCarthyism. March 9, 1954 Film clips of Sen. Joe McCarthy were shown on TV. It finally exposed what kind of man he was.

That helped pull Sen. Joe McCarthy off of the public stage.

It almost did not happen.

We had Dan Rather. Rather was pulled down with a dirty trick from G.W. Bush's protection squad. Dan Rather was right. G.W. Bush was a selfish, self centered, spoiled brat that avoided responsibility and duty. They killed Dan Rather's career, to protect G.W. Bush's image. The cover up did not work. The truth came out, anyways. But, it took a long time for the truth to get told. All that was talked about, was the scandal of Dan Rather's mistake, and the attack on G.W. Bush, our (un- elected ) President.

Everything has changed, since Ed Murrow died.

Trumpvember will not end, until we can legally "pull him off of his throne," and "throw him out."

Can you imagine the explosive response, if Bill Clinton decided that Chelsea would be his Special Advisor?

If Bill installed Chelsea in an office meant for Hillary, and gave her everything that Trump gave to Ivanka ?(As it is, Chelsea has been hounded about her future in politics, for the past month...

https://www.boston.com/news/politics/2017/04/04/chelsea-clinton-im-not-the-person-to-defeat-trump

Can you imagine the reaction if President Obama appointed Malia to be his eyes and ears, and brought her to every international meeting, with every head of state ?

Malia is only 18 years old, though.

Reminded of Casablanca film, as the White House scandals emerge

Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?

Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]

Croupier: Your winnings, sir.

Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.

[aloud]
Captain Renault: Everybody out at once

Regional Edward R. Murrow awards were given out, this past week.

The fact that they were announced, did not escape my subconscious.

I jut try to imagine how bad things would be without Ivanka and her husband there to keep an eye on the orange git. Ivanka's hubby was a Democrat previously. Better to have them with special offices of their own so they can talk some sense into Il Donald.

*yikes face*

The recent remarks by Trump and Priebus call to mind an observation made by Obama before the 2016 presidential election, one that was widely ridiculed by the conservative press at the time:

“If you disrespect the Constitution by threatening to shut down the press when it doesn’t say things you like or threaten to throw your opponent in jail or discriminate against people of different faiths. If you do that before you are elected, then what are you gonna do when you have actual power to do those things?”

"In this business, when you lose everyone says you're an idiot and when you win everyone says you're a genius," Balaban said. "I've learned neither is true."

Did those ruffian upstarts, the Rolling Stones, troll the Beatles' album, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," with a derivative " Their Satanic Majesties Request" ? Was released the same year.

I loved both.

Jimmy Kimmel opened up, and cried. He had an insight, and it prompted him to speak about compassion. That made Conservatives very angry.

According to Conservatives, only John Boehner is allowed to become overly emotional. Boehner was utterly narcissistic, and filled with self pity.
