I grew up with dogs so to speak, so I love them. By the same token, I was never much into kids until my nephews were born, and now I like kids too.
My brother-in law grew up in a family who thought that dogs were dirty and vermin; but since he got his own dog, he's crazy about dogs.

Same goes for the "racists and biggots" from this site. Who knows what life experiences -or lack of- shaped their beliefs… That doesn't make them rotten to the core; just misguided.

I'd forgotten how many good songs the Eurythmics had in the eighties. I might have to get a Greatest Hits to warble to in the car.
