The daughter and I had a lovely breakfast. She made breakfast sandwiches and I made a pot of tea. Beautiful morning so we had breakfast outside.

She went to school and I picked up a mate. We went shopping. I bought lots of new things. Lots and lots. We had lunch and shopped some more. Came home and hid all the stuff.

Picked up the kids and went for a swim. It was hot. The water was warm. Went home and had a bbq dinner. Few beers and then in bed by 10. Slept in my swimmers.

It was a great day.

It was pretty full on. I didn't realise how much I'd bought until I had to unload the stuff from the car lol. But there was no rush or stress, you know? It was fun with my mate. I love that chill feel. I was relaxed. She's a crack up though... There were a few naughty comments made throughout the day.

Feels like summer but summer's not til next month. Been hot. I knew it was coming after we had all that rain.
