The Isolated Blurt Thread IX: Insurrection

I can't remember a dearer subject to me once I became aware than geography, and all these years later I still don't know of one that interests me naturally more...

...yet, I am not to ashamed to admit I had no idea Burkina Faso even existed, let alone that France instigated a deadly violent coup d'état there and its chosen tool has ruled over the place for almost 30 years now.

Now the bozo has ordered a state of emergency as the parliament burns and after an Army general has declared the government and parliament dissolved...

...just because he insists on another term in office.

What is it about this place - "one of the world's poorest countries" - that France is so interested in obviously oppressing it over?

It has some rather nice mineral deposits. Lots of gold and rare earth type stuff.

If you stumble into a group of people that are oddly silent, and one of them starts to scream in a ultra-high pitched, alien voice...

Ruuunnnn!

I always buy Blue Buffalo Wilderness food for the cats and dogs. Usually Chicken or Real Beef Flavor.

Is it wrong to feed them food with natural Rabbits? lol

I never knew they had such a thing.

i've bought their senior food for my dog, and he loves it. his coat is noticeably softer and he has more energy. the other day in bed, i was rubbing my feet against what i thought was a stuffed animal the kids left in the bed, and i realized it was him. he's a smaller dog and doesn't eat a whole lot, so the higher price it totally worth it. the cats get taste of the wild, another grain free food.

Another reason why that street harassment video is bollocks

They Edited Out the White Guys

That is, aside from it being misleading and sensationalist with little relation to the actual harassment that women deal with throughout our lives.

The only one crazy enough to accuse someone else of being a pod person must be the actual pod person. Obviously.

As you have figured this out in such short order, and going by the simple fact that I have not yet caught out a pod person despite having accused many of being pod people and having been accused many times myself of being a pod person (I am definitely not a pod person), it appears that your theory must indeed be wrong or pod people (of whom I am not one) are far more devious than you might have assumed.

roger. thank god you were here! :rose:

wait….are you a pod person? what are the symptoms?

Eerie monotone delivery. Speech patterns obviously more intelligent than one knows the real person to be. Stay away from lit readings and you should have no trouble picking them out.

that's going to be a problem. I'm going to a dylan thomas reading tomorrow.

I buy that brand for my cat and Instinct brand wet food. She's very much into eating bunnies, bambies and swimmies. She's a cat, whatareyougonnado?

I've been buying Blue Wilderness dry for the dogs and cat for a while now and I agree with the coats and they all love it especially the cat. It's the highest natural protein food you can get. Mid 30%. It's expensive.

I've seen the chicken, duck, salmon, beef etc but never the green bag o' bunny parts.

Maybe you learned of it when it was called Upper Volta? They changed the name a while back. When I was a kid and loved geography that's how I learned it.

If I say phelia 5 times while standing in front of the mirror will I get a strange drawing in my box?
